I have a new unused tank for a ResMed AirSense 10 and a plain unheated hose (package opened but tube not used). I will mail them in the US. Reimburse the postage if you are able. If you can't, that's OK too.

Re: Airsense 11 Water Tank - Not "clicking" in correctly?
There is a design flaw in the AirSense 11. I was having trouble with my new AirSense 11 tank articulating with the machine and noticed the following. The silicone connector ON THE TANK is round. The silicone connector ON THE MACHINE (you can see when you look inside the tank space) is actually sligh...

Re: Walked Out On DME
There IS a supply problem with the Airsense 11. Just keep waiting. I was eligible so ordered one thru the Dr and the DME in March/April when I realized that my 7 year old Airsense 10 only worked with 3G and Resmed stopped connecting with it. I got it in early August, so the wait was 4 months. Appare...

Airsense 11 and leaks
I am experienced with CPAP (since 2009), a side sleeper using a Circadiance ELAN cloth mask. On my Airsense 10, my routine AHI was somewhere under 4 for 95% of the time with leaks almost never over 20, and usually below 10. (Excluding the occasional bad night :D). Have had my new Airsense 11 for jus...

Elan mask seal and back sleeping
Normally I am a side sleeper butI have recently started sleeping on my back because of shoulder problems (being addressed). I use a Circadiance Elan cloth nasal mask (6+ years now) and now am having huge problems with leakage, 20-30+ per minute up from usually well under 10 (per AirSense 10 reports)...

FREE Circadiance SleepWeaver Advance mask and headgear
Apria sent me an incorrect mask. They are replacing with the correct one and said to "dispose" of the wrong one. So this mask and gear - new and never out of the box - is available first come first served. "One size fits most." Reviews are available on CPAP.com. I love the soft masks, but prefer the...

Re: Question about DME
The replacement frequency on any silicone that contacts skin is very variable - related to the individual. My husband can get a month out of a silicone cushion. When I was using them (use a fabric mask now), they would start leaking after about 2 weeks. There IS an interaction between skin and silic...

Re: Make or break
Write down (in as brief a form as possible) EXACTLY what you need. Get your doctor involved by asking him/her to read what you have written and indicate his/her medical agreement. Should cut down on the he said/she said stuff. Also, be sure the tech reads the document and indicates understanding. L

Anyone tried the new Circadiace 3D mask?
I have just gotten one and have used it for 3 nights. I had excellent leak control with the Clircadiance Elan but the sizing created a small issue. Thought I would try this new one as I love the cloth mask. But I am fining that it looses positioning very easily. Also, it has a boomerang-shaped plast...

Re: Air fit 10 issues
I love my SleepWeaver Elan (nasal) mask, but it took a long time (like months) to get used to it and solve a few quirks. I have persisted because it feels so much lighter on my face. I used a frame-type mask for years. I am thinking that between the 3 stars and the trickiness of the soft fabric mask...

Sleepwearver Elan velcro problem
The velcro started failing on my Sleepweaver Elan (cloth) mask at about 4 months. Medicare will not replace until 6 months. Reviews on Cpap.com suggest this is a problem for this mask. Has anyone figured out a 2 to 4 month fix? I have ordered just the headgear from our sponsor as a stopgap. Lindalrc

Re: sleep apnea diagnosis
Snorkel mask - not such a hot idea. The smallest face-print masks, if that is what you need, require nose breathing only. With a snorkel you breath thru your mouth. There are a few designs out there that do not block your vision, so you can read or watch TV while sitting up and letting your body acc...

Re: when to replace cpap machine?
The controller in the machine is a computer; the motor runs a fan. Most computers do not go more than 5 years and new upgrades are nice. So, start your shopping and reading so you can make a good decision without rushing and make the purchase when the insurance or your pocketbook allows. If you know...

Re: Go with the Affiliated Supplier or Shop Around?
My vote would be to give them a good try. BUT treat it like any other new medical office or any store you might go to. Is it clean? Do they listen? Do they interact well with the MD? What are their policies on trying masks? (This is important because the masks are pricy and it can take 3 to 10 tries...
