Re: CBD (from cannabis) oil and deep sleep
I have had excellent results, very few wake-ups (maybe I can recall 2 per night if that) and also my AHI is much lower, because there are no SWJ centrals...... Great! ---maybe similar results overhere. I started CBD oil 10.7 mg/ml, THC: 0.55 mg/ml twice a day (total currently, daily: 10 mg CBD; 1.0...

Re: Low AHI, strong morning fatigue, sleepyhead images attached
Hi, hockey _with all respect to our fellows, maybe kind of different opinion here. You would be a typical case of untreated UARS (still excessive FL and RERA, flagged, not talk on unflagged ones); _you have not taken the very first step yet to tackle the impairment, which could be, maybe, raise your...

Re: Auto Cpap vs fixed pressure
I switched from Auto to fixed. My AHI is still acceptable and I'm still sleeping better than I would without a machine at all. But to be sure, if I could figure out how to stop the aerophagia, I'd go back to auto with a minimum at 14-ish and a max as high as the machine can go. -JD Hi, JD a curiosi...

Re: Auto Cpap vs fixed pressure
...forgot this, even more important: majority of my awakenings follows Unflagged RERA's of some sort, so that machine does not increase pressure where it should do, whereas increase where It should not, where I don't need it.

Re: Auto Cpap vs fixed pressure
Hi, Good elaborations Pugsy and Dog Slober. It my case, treating my UARS for some 6 months, now pretty much worked out everything, BPAP, may be different. However, some 1 month i suddenly found out would much better set a fixed IPAPmax (=EPAPmin+PS, no bit more). That simply because auto bumps/leaks...

Re: UARS: AirCurve 10 VAUTO $500 vs Dreamstation APAP $400
So I got UARS RDI 13 diagnosed in Jefferson (philadelphia) Sleep Center two weeks ago. My AHI is only 1 or 2, and I'm not eligible for CPAP coverage according to Jefferson's ENT doctor. First strong indication you would suffer from UARS/FL/RERA (flagged or not). And, for this, I still waiting to se...

Re: Could someone look at my Sleepyhead results and talk about UARS?
Hi, dear folks, and musicfreak Had to dig this up. I would love to know about current follow up. At first, your case looks similar to mine, even more, if I consider times when I was in CPAP and AirSense 10 Autoset. But still some similarities these days on my BPAP. Looking twice trough this thread: ...

Re: UARS/FL/RERA (PLMS): My Sleeping Drawbacks
...in time, kteague, wonder if you could tell me something on what you think would be your relationships between PLMS and respiratory-driven (in my case, FL/RERA), if you think there would be any. I my case, I am totally focused on awakenings (I have concluded that Sleep Efficiency is everything; no...

Re: UARS/FL/RERA (PLMS): My Sleeping Drawbacks
. One thing to consider with the different meds is whether they are stopping your movements or if they are allowing you to sleep through the movements . thanks, well, I do think, based on my daily counting and tracking, that some meds (particularly Pramipexol and Pregabalin) diminish moves; problem ...

Hi, bigtenweather
Not trying to jump to anything before your charts , From my own experience and from tens of lingering apnea/UARS/FL/RERA-treated people elsewhere, my first hypothesis would have just touched the tip of the iceberg: mild apneas.
Good luck

Re: UARS/FL/RERA (PLMS): My Sleeping Drawbacks
About the PLMS... Limb movements that are secondary to a medication (like some mood meds) tend to be more problematic to control. Movements not caused by a med have proved for me to be more responsive to alternative treatments. First things first - have you had a ferritin level (storage iron) drawn...
