Prices of supplies sky high!

Post by dream321 » Sat Feb 11, 2023 10:31 am

I haven't bought supplies in about eight months, and they now seem to be around 80% more expensive across the board, everywhere. It's insane. Anybody know a website that has lower prices?

If you are in the US I suggest Amazon. Lots of people buy supplies there. I have also purchased items on sale from various online CPAP vendors.
Machine: ResMed AS10 for Her w/Humdifier & ClimateLine Hose
Settings: Fixed at 8 cm H2O, EPR 1
Mask: ResMed N30i
Other: Kinesiology Tape

Inflation has been especially nasty lately.
Cpap.com is the sponsor of this forum, and is a good choice,
unless insurance is being used.
Only get what you really need--not a good time to stock up.

Anybody know a website that has lower prices?
Might be helpful to know who to compare to.
While I have seen some higher prices I don't recall anything coming near to 80%.
What were you looking to buy and where?

If you're not using insurance, you can often find individual parts at Ebay or Amazon for a good price.

You can also get 25% off at cpap.com with code SLEEPERBOWLXXIII. If you sign up for their emails you'll get discount codes sent to you frequently.

WHAT "supplies"? That's a very vague statement.
You're not being very descriptive. What do you "need" and why so often?
I go for many YEARS with my masks, hoses, filters, etc. Then look for "deals" (sales) with the various online sellers and stock up on things that may eventually wear out. I don't buy things till they wear out.....but I always have spares for emergencies.
Buying supplies just because somebody tells you they CAN be replaced at various intervals isn't a very smart way to manage your "supplies"
And, I've always purchased my supplies out-of-pocket.......no insurance provider has ever paid for my supplies.

If you take care of your stuff it will last longer......too much cleaning wears them out faster.
