Re: FDA approved??

I clicked through to look at the paperwork. The interesting thing about the FDA approval is that the company got it by representing that its product is substantially equivalent to an existing product. In other words, they promise that they are nothing but copycats. This is a normal process. If I wan...

Re: What is a Libtard

Do you suppose the snoozedoctor is one of us? The name sounds like a clue.

[quote="DreamStalker"]The snoozedoctor sez ya'lls all's thick as a brick!

Wow! Just wow! What a treat to see how that's done. One of my all time favorites. The same guy also does the opening of Passion Play.

Re: Remember that CNN headline about cpap not helping?

We are indeed an ornery bunch who speak their minds. I don't think CNN deserves too much criticism for this. It was an online story by a freelancer, not a prime time special, and it is no worse than the usual casual science journalism. Unfortunately, most stories in the mainstream press about scient...

Re: Is any body happy with cpap

I'm happy with it. The inconvenience is minor and the results have been dramatic. I've been using CPAP for eight years now with only the rarest lapses. I even managed to find a wife during that time -- something I might not have had the energy for otherwise. I used to have a terrible time staying aw...

It strikes me as mighty pricey for a travel machine that I would have to pay for entirely out of my own pocket. I assume the good people at Aetna would not see the need for a backup.

Re: New puppy!

Bernese is closer to the truth. Mom is a Bernese but dad is a poodle. She will still be a big girl. She's gained about three pounds in ten days. I can't believe how much she has learned in that time as well. Here is a happier looking picture than the last one:

Re: New puppy!

I can't believe how fast this one is growing. She's learning to be an urban dog, with perfect elevator manners. I love the cute retrievers in this thread. Sorry I didn't mark it as OT to start, but it began with mask chewing. No more of that lately.

Re: New puppy!

Daddy is a golden w/wavey, almost Irish Setter red coat. That is what Bernie's predecessor looked like. She was a true beauty with a marvelous gift of friendship for any human or canine, and even cats (if not too aloof). But who ever met an unfriendly golden? It is a coincidence, but she died preci...

That's one cute puppy. You have to love the way labs always look like they have smiles on their faces, whatever their age.

Re: New puppy!

She is pretty darn cute. I was so tired last night I fell asleep before my head hit the pillow. It wasn't until morning I noticed I had a couple of pinprick holes in my hose too. There, I'm topical and can post another photo.

Re: Carrie Fisher died of Sleep Apnea?

The fact that the autopsy report mentioned atherosclerotic heart disease as well as drug use suggests that perhaps sleep apnea triggered a serious arrhythmia like ventricular tachycardia. Many antidepressants can increase the chances of arrhythmia. Doctors try not to use such drugs in individuals wi...

New puppy!

My mask lasted less than 36 hours. She'll have me trained in no time not to let anything drop to the floor even for a second.
