Re: Amazon filters
I think this is what I am using now. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B085QDTCMN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I have taken them out of the big package and put in little plastic baggies so I don't remember the brand name. I can't swear to it though.....I know I have bought more f...

Re: Amazon filters
https://ap.resmed.com/knowledge/air_filter The above link shows a good comparison of the "regular" ResMed filters and the hypoallergenic filters...and this is from ResMed and shows their OEM products. Note that the S9, AirSense 10 and 11 models all use the same filter. And DMEs CAN supply the hypoa...

Amazon filters
Anyone ever use the no-name brand of filters available on Amazon? Well, not no-name but you know what I mean, no real brand name. Back when the Phillips recall surfaced, I purchased a ResMed AirCurve 10 out of pocket. At the time I also purchased a bunch of hypoallergenic filters. I just ran out and...

Re: Anti Snoring blanket
People will buy anything to avoid CPAP. I was once in an asthma forum online where a woman insisted that a fan blowing in her face treated her sleep apnea, because it blew air into her mouth. Yep, uh huh, how stupid can you be??? That's one question that should NEVER be asked. The answer is t...

Re: Anti Snoring blanket
I wish I had known that I could cure my sleep apnea with this simple device! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CSYV8ZYC Strange that there are no reviews of this blanket on Amazon, nor is there even a way to leave a review. How's that possible? I think that we know why there are no reviews thou...

Re: CPAP Class Action Lawsuit Settlement
As I mentioned in my post above, I tried the verification process again just now. No dice. The system is still not generating the passcode. The pop-up window (for entering the passcode) has a portion of my email address viewable and according to the rep I spoke with, that means that I am indeed in t...

Re: CPAP Class Action Lawsuit Settlement
I spent some 'quality' time on the phone yesterday with the Settlement Administrator attempting to verify my submissions for the recall. Has anyone been able to verify their submissions concerning the returned machines here? https://www.respironicscpap-elsettlement.com/verification At this site abov...

Re: Can I put a few drops of Vick Vapo Steam in my CPAP Humidifier?
I don't see why not. CPAP humidifiers work in exactly the same way as regular steamers except with far less temperature (for obvious reasons). Adding a drop or two of the Vicks Vapo Steam (or similar products) to the humidifier water should have the same effect. Just don't go pouring in a half a bo...

Re: Accidentally erasing stored data on CPAP machine
I can totally change the time on my Airsense 10; But I choose not to. DST is stupid. Once I retired, I no longer have to play that damn game. What game is that? I'm retired too but I still like to know what the correct time is once in a while. I have clocks for that--on the wall, nightstand, microw...

If you're going to ask a question, it's a good practice to give folks some sort of clue as to what the question is about by the title of your post.

Re: Should a heated tube actually feel warm to the touch?
I have posted this note to the manufacturer as well and have not heard back, but I am curious -- I bought the ClimateLineAir™ Heated Tube for AirSense™ 10 and have been using it for about a week. To the touch, it is room temp at best, definitely not what I would call warm. Is this correct? Just mak...

Re: CPAP making things worse
Hi, I am a new user to CPAP. I'm having so much trouble and am ready to just give up. I don't have issues so much with the mask, but I'm like an angry gnome at the audacity of insurance companies making people COMPLY with their dumb restrictions, along with the notion that I have to give up everyth...
