Re: Concerned/Worried - New Air Sense 11 AHI High

Uhhh... the link expired. Oh! Hard to read then. :D Apologies. The original link was for May 27. The past couple of nights have been better though. I didn't upload last night to SleepHQ yet, but I have May 28 to compare. See below: May 27 Link - High leak rate (time off by an hour): https://sleephq...

Re: Starting soon.... One more question.

I *never* wash my hose. I wash my tank and nasal cushion every week or so, in hot soapy water. I use tap water and don't get any mineral build up. I'm on my second hose in six years. I dropped and broke the first one. I'm on my second tank in 6 years. The original is still good, but the mask connect...

Re: Best travel CPAP with humidifier

I see some gadgets that connect to the tubing and capture moisture that replaces a humidifier. Are they any good? They are called Heat Moisture Exchangers. And they work for some people and others don't get much value. Buy a pack, turn off your humidity and try it, before investing in a portable CP...

Re: Best travel CPAP with humidifier

The only travel device, with a humidifier was the DreamStation Go. But I'm not sure they've have a safe foam replacement, or are available anymore. I would suggest not using a travel device. They are often : No humidity Noisy Expensive Not all that much smaller Expensive Not data capable Limited opt...

Biden actually publicly admitted he has OSA and is using CPAP. While as a CPAP user I appreciate and respect that Biden admitted to using a CPAP,
Of course he admitted to using CPAP, there were pics all over the internet with the telltale indents on his face.

Re: AirCurve 11s are in But

I asked him about the water leaking and he said that is only happening with old people that don't use enough force to close push the water canister into the AirCurve 11. No. The lid has a Snap-Latch that it ensures it is closed completely and sealed. The tank also has a snap-Latch to ensure it is i...

Re: ResMed AirSense 10 "Smart Start" Doesn't Shut Down

These start/stop features cause more problems than they're worth I feel... just turn them off and use the button, what's so hard? Given that millions of ResMeds with SmartStart are used every night, and only a few report problems, I fail to see how feel they are more trouble then they are worth. Ad...

Re: Anyone else experiencing connection problems here on the forum

The root cause of the forum problems is because CPAP . com and the Goodmans have become absentee landlords. Whenever there are technical issues, it takes weeks just to get their attention (if at all). Then weeks for them to escalate it to their technical team (if at all). Then weeks to address (if a...

Re: OT.....Trump falling asleep in court

What possible reason should a judge order a sleep study?

Are you suggesting that all defendants (found guilty), who fall asleep in court, be ordered to have a sleep test, or just the Donald Trump ones?

Re: Unclassified Apneas

This post serves as a good example of why people shouldn't post small snippets of their OSCAR screen shot. Pugsy was able to recognise Large Leak because of the combination of UA and Grey Background . Many wouldn't, We know with a lot of confidence, that the OP was awake (not awake enough to form st...

Re: Resmed water chamber issues

I have a Resmed Air Sense 10 and have been using it for 18 months- fantastic. I have a problem with my water reservoir leaking but only occasional. I now place my machine in an inverted plastic tub cover to prevent it from damaging the nightstand. I only use distilled water in it. Is there any way ...

Re: My Lucky Day

I forgot to mention the included SD card AND a carry case for the SD card. I suppose it is so you can carry the card to your Dr? So if you aren't getting an SD card with your brand new zero hour AirCurve 10 then your equipment dealer (DME) is stealing it. The black ones are better. https://drive.go...

Re: Autostart not shutting off with Climatelineair

There are a couple of possibilities: Leak Sensor: The Climateairline might be causing a small leak that the machine misinterprets as breathing, preventing auto-off. Settings: Some settings might need adjustment for optimal autostart functionality with the Climateairline. This is not how AutoStop wo...
