Re: Resmed N30i Nasal Pillow Options
Just got the P30i today, looking forward to trying it tonight. The venting is diffuse enough, different than the P10, but very similar in effect. Seems comfortable and quiet enough. We'll see. I ordered it today. I hope you will post your thoughts on the P30i I did, just look a couple of posts up *...

Re: How to breathe against constant pressure
You will get to the point where you won't think much about it. You will know something is missing if you lay down and try to sleep without it. You might try listening to a podcast, music, or read while using your machine so your brain is distracted. Don't try to change your breathing, just breathe l...

Re: Remaining in Bed or Not
I often wake before my alarm or on weekends when it seems too early to get up. I wake up so peaceful and calm with my mask on that I like to just enjoy it for a while. Sometimes I'll read or listen to a podcast before I de-mask and get up. Occasionally I fall back to sleep. I am the same way! I fin...

Re: Newbie here (2 months) and feeling discouraged (:
I have been on CPAP for approximately 9 months. I have tried 12 mask...every possible kind. I finally started using the ResMed N20 and taping my mouth shut and I am finally getting the hang of it. I originally tried two FFM and that for me was definitely a no go. They didn't only leak, they made hor...

Re: High air flow with ResMed AirSense 10
However the last few nights have been a problem. Early in the morning the CPAP wakes me up by flooding me with supplied air. I will check the fit and roll on my back and modulated my breathing, the machine still (over) supplies me. All the air is exiting out of the vent in the bridge of the mask. I...

Re: Sleep Aid Recommendatios
You might consider looking into CBD oil or L-Theanine. They probably won’t knock you out, but might make it where you can sleep.

Re: "our sponsor"
I use CPAP.com all the time. I actually have a mask coming tomorrow. Being able to try a mask for 30 days has been extremely helpful in finding what works.

Re: How long do P10 pillows lasts for you?
I found the pillows for both the Swift FX and Dreamwear Nasal Pillow were barely making it a month. I think there are probably lots of reasons they vary in length of usage..from your own body chemistry to the amount of humidity you do or do not use to how much pressure you need. I am sure the variab...

Re: Optimizing pressure on APAP
After researching the site, I realized I probably need to change my nasal pillows, I had used the same ones for 6-7 weeks. I probably need to change them at the 4-5 week mark. Why? Bcause it was wore out. When I compared the old nasal pillow to the new one, the blue gel was barely blue on the old o...

Re: Optimizing pressure on APAP
I don’t know if this applies to you, but I was cruising along with xPAP therapy and was starting to have more and more good days. All of the sudden I started feeling bad....really bad. Weepy, anxious, and tired. My Sleepyhead Data showed increase in leaks and I couldn’t figure out what was going on....

Re: DreamWear is a dream for me
It is great when you find a mask that works for you. I have been using the Dreamwear Nasal Pillow mask. I tried the Dreamwear Nasal for a few nights and could not get a good seal, but the pillows seem to work for me. Since I have been doing pretty good with my xPAP therapy, I have not been paying mu...

Re: non sucessful users
I wanted the CPAP to fix all my issues, but I finally came to terms that it wasn't going to. My numbers are great (AHI is rarely over .9), so the machine is doing what is it intended to do. I had to come to terms with the fact I have an anxiety disorder and it interferes with my sleep. I don't know ...
