Re: Resmed 11 humidity pot runs out of water
Well, I’ve come up with a solution that doesn’t require my extra tank hack to avoid running out of water on the ResMed AirsSense 11. I went back to using my Philips DreamStation One which was my first and only other machine before the ResMed 11. This DreamStation was used before I got it and I used ...

Re: How many years does a mask last?
The Medical Equipment companies push all the parts (tank, hose, filter, mask, cushions) and insurance and Medicare seem okay with that. For me none of these parts get a chance to get even one year old. I feel bad that people have to pay out of pocket for supplies and use them until they fall apart.

Re: Resmed 11 humidity pot runs out of water
vandownbytheriver, I just noticed the doctor lowered my pressure a second time on 20 Dec 2023 from [10 start, 17 max] to [7 start, 15 max]. The Philips was always at [10, 20] for the 5 years I had it. Don't know what the Flex setting was. The Airsense 11 Autoset pressure history is: [10, 20) on 3 Ma...

Re: Resmed 11 humidity pot runs out of water
Yes, my mouth gets dry on automatic. I would like to turn the humidity up a little, not down. The only change that started the running out of water was changing from a DreamStation One to a ResMed 11 Autoset. The mask was the same. One very noticeable difference between the ResMed and the Phillips i...

Re: Resmed 11 humidity pot runs out of water
Alan, I had to read your post a few times to understand what you’re trying say. It seems you are saying be precise about what ResMed 11 model we are discussing with your example being Airsense vs Aircurve. Ironically you have “resident” and “ass” and “aircraft” and “bypass” in your explanation. It a...

Re: Resmed 11 humidity pot runs out of water
Here are some picture of the ResMed 11 tank: (1) overflowing when attempting to fill it to its advertised 380 ml capacity (2) when filled to a more realistic 325 ml capacity This tank tapers downward at the hinge side. It is visibly lower from its side view. There are also 3 slots in the tank rim at...

Re: Resmed 11 humidity pot runs out of water
I have ResMed Airsense 11 that I received a year ago in March 2023 to replace a Phillips DreamStation One that I had for 5 years. The DreamStation never ran out of water in that 5 years but the ResMed 11 lasted only 6 hours a night from the first day I used it. I run the ResMed 11 on automatic for b...
