You might add your machine model to your comments section of your profile since it isn't available from the equipment menu. Will avoid confusion later.
Just don't choose a machine from the drop down menu.

Re: Woke Up Gasping
Ahhhhh.
Then you simply won't have the flow limitation graph to evaluate since you don't have auto mode.

Re: Does the air curve 11 have a memory card
I don't know if ResMed is shipping the Air Curve 11 machines with a SD card included or not but it has a spot for a SD card.

Re: Woke Up Gasping
I believe that when using the AirCurve in S mode (fixed bilevel pressures) that the FL sensor is disabled and that's why no flow limitation graph. It's my understanding that a person needs to use Auto Bilevel mode to get FL graphs. You can still use the same settings if you wish ....just change to A...

Re: OSCAR Question About Pressure
Top pressure line is the inhale pressure.
Bottom pressure line is the exhale pressure.
You must be using EPR or exhale pressure relief.
If you weren't using any exhale relief you would see one single pressure.

Re: Night One on BiPAP
Your nice low AHI may not mean all that much if the machine is missing sensing & recording apnea events due to the excessive leaks compromising the machine's sensors. Is the AHI nice and low because nothing happened or because the machine was clueless during the large leak times???? It's one night t...

Re: Centrals?
See the snippet below....A big mess of centrals and can't blame it on SWJ either. Asleep for sure when all that crap happened. I am still trying to sort all that crap out. Never had that happen before. Pugsy, isn't that perfectly formed waxing & waning sinusoidal breathing called Periodic Breathing...

Re: standard or soft response
I gotta a bunch of stuff on my plate today. So no time to go into much detail at all. Sorry. Stuff related to my late mother's estate that got dumped on my plate to handle. I have explained how to tell the difference multiple times in the past. Here's a thread that I happen to have handy. https://ww...

Re: Centrals?
Hold your breath for 15 seconds....that's essentially a 15 second central apnea...the airway is open but no air is moving but that's because you aren't even trying to breathe. But I wasn't holding my breath... believe me, I know how to breathe normally when laying in bed awake on CPAP. I induced CA...

Re: Centrals?
For it to be a central apnea that really matters you have to be asleep when it happens. Hold your breath for 15 seconds....that's essentially a 15 second central apnea...the airway is open but no air is moving but that's because you aren't even trying to breathe. You are pausing your breathing while...

Re: standard or soft response
I would go back to when you weren't screwing around with the settings. Back to what seemed to be working well for you and you were feeling good. I do NOT believe your centrals are EPR related (the bulk or over 80% of them are arousal/awake breathing related) but you can certainly try discontinuing i...

Re: standard or soft response
I don't have time to look at all those SleepHQ reports but I did scroll through the May 4 report. Probably at least 85% of the flagged events you weren't asleep when they got flagged. You may not remember the arousal but it happened and your breathing reflects it. Lots of arousal/awake breathing sho...
