SleepyHead vs. ResMed MyAir Results
I am using a Resmed AirCurve 10 ASV machine and an AirFit P10 mask I am monitoring my performance using both SleepyHead and Resmed's MyAir. MyAir does not give the detail that SleepyHead does, but both give me information about leaks. SleepyHead gives specific data while MyAir says either the mask f...

Re: SleepyHead Problem & Questions
I don't want to mess with my computer-- too many important things on there. Unless someone else has an idea, I'll just let it go as is. I have some leaks, but I feel good.

Re: SleepyHead Problem & Questions
I have had no problems with SleepyHead over the past year. However, last week I missed one night of data because I forgot to put the SD card back in my machine. Now when I look at the SleepyHead statistics data, everything looks OK (having shown I have less than 100% compliance) and the rest of the ...

Re: Major Mask Leaks and Impact on AHI
I have been having periodic (2-3 times a week) major and prolonged mask leaks - like 20% of the night and with 90% leak rate showing around 40 and average leak rate of around 13. I am using a Resmed AirCurve 10 ASV. I monitor myself using both Sleepy Head and Resmed's MyAir. I was concerned about th...

Re: ResMed AirCurve 10 ASV - How to Tell If I'm Doing Well
One more question. Looking at my SleepHead data, last night my average leak rate was 8.73 and then it shows the 90% leak rate of 37.20 and the % of time above Leak Rate Threshold at 37%. My weekly stats are about the same. Last night I had steady leak rates above 50 for about 45 minutes at 4 a.m. My...

Re: ResMed AirCurve 10 ASV - How to Tell If I'm Doing Well
Thanks everyone. I generally don't wake up with the leaks so I guess I shouldn't worry. I just spoke with my DME and he said that so long as myAir is showing "GOOD" for mask leakage and for AHI that I should go on with life. Pugsy - I have been trying the Breveda mask as well and have had mixed resu...

Re: ResMed AirCurve 10 ASV - How to Tell If I'm Doing Well
Ok, that's a good starting point. But my data ranges all over the place. In the course of 2 weeks I'd say I'm under the 10% threshold about 50% of time time and under 15% about 85% of the nights. So, am I doing OK?

ResMed AirCurve 10 ASV - How to Tell If I'm Doing Well
I have been using this machine for about 9 months and while I'm feeling good, I think I have been having problems with mask leakage. I seem to have no quick and definitive way of determining if the leakage is excessive. My machine has an indicator that shows green or red for leakage over the entire ...

Re: AirFit P10 High Leak Numbers
I am trying to post a shot of my data for last night, but I have no idea if I've done it right. imgur.com is very confusing to use. I had an AHI of zero again last night, but my leak rate is still quite high, with time over leak redline at 28%. I am using the Resmed AirCurve 10 ASV. I am using the P...

Re: AirFit P10 High Leak Numbers
I don't know how to copy and paste my Sleephead chart here. But the high leak rates were around 35-40, with a few spikes to near 50. I'm using a Resmed AirCurve 10 ASV as I have Complex Apnea.

AirFit P10 High Leak Numbers
I just started using this mask and really like it. However, I am getting large leaks and am awakened by them. Last night I used the clips and tightened up the mask. I slept uninterrupted for the first time. But this morning my data shows that I had large leaks 33% of the night, my worst number yet. ...

Re: Pugsy's Pointers...SleepyHead Tutorial and TX Hints
I am using a Resmed AirCurve10 ASV with SleepyHead. I have complex apnea with about 50% being centrals. My SleepHead daily report is showing a category "UA" as an event flag which does not seem to be defined anywhere. Can you tell me what it is measuring? Also, my DME accidentally gave me the wrong ...

Re: Current Models for Treating Complex Apnea
Do you have any idea why Respironics has discontinued the System One BiPap Adapt SV, leaving them with no machine to treat complex apnea? Were there problems with it?

Current Models for Treating Complex Apnea
It's time to get a new machine for my complex apnea. As I travel a lot I need the smallest, lightest machine with a heated humidifier. I have found the Resmed AirCurve 10 ASV and it seems to meet my size/weight requirements. I wanted to look at a Respironics machine also but the one online company I...

Re: Resmed VPAP COPD
I am presently using a Respironics VPAP Adapt SV. The machine is relatively old, noisy, large, and heavy. I travel a lot by plane and as I age it's getting more difficult for me to lift this thing into the overhead bin. It has done pretty well in treating my complex apnea, but since I also have COPD ...
