Just be aware that added humidity can cause/aggravate congestion.
Perhaps. This is unlikely given her situation.

She stated the dramatic shift from very humid to very dry has exacerbated her allergies and caused her nose to be dry.

Re: Severe nasal congestion/ allergies

I live in a high desert mountain, the combination of an usually wet and mild spring rapidly turning into hot and dry temps have wrecked havoc because of both the high pollen count and sudden changes in humidity. Have you tried using a humidifier(s)? Nasal turbinates will swell in response to an all...

Re: Severe nasal congestion/ allergies

I realize this topic has been discussed at length, but the search function is currently giving me an error message and I’m hoping someone might have something to suggest that I haven’t tried yet. My allergies are always pretty severe, but this year with a combo of an unusually wet winter and spring...

Hey all, This is a friend's Oscar data and not mine, which is why I'm creating a new thread. I am going to provide an imgur link with screenshots of some of her Oscar data, but please let me know if there's additional information needed. My assessment should be taken with a grain of salt, but it loo...

Re: Latest Version of Resmed Airsense 10 Software

Are you using the same SD card in both machines? might be a bad card. Makes sense to me too. I would even try a new profile in OSCAR, and also check whatever it is that is doing the card reading: I have to insert my card into a USB thingy, and would change it if got this crazy data. If your compute...

Re: Latest Version of Resmed Airsense 10 Software

I was just wondering what causes gaps in data logging during therapy hours. I have been trying get to the bottom of the problem for the last three months without success. The problem I am having is not that common. That is why a lot of people think it is due to clock setting. But I am convinced it ...

Re: New ASV. Oscar pics.

...the ASV is a fantastic machine - pure magic. I call it The Big Lie, but potato, potahto. Why do so many people shout "ASV" from the rooftops? You (Rubicon) seem to hold the opposing opinion. Is it because most things can be achieved with CPAP when done correctly? Does ASV make finding therapeuti...

Re: Ex-Medtronic employee targets snoring, sleep apnea

How can anyone drink water all night and sleep??? I guess carp do. (My dad called them suckers.) Fun fact: "Stocking Chinese grass carp, sometimes called white amur, in farm ponds is an effective way to control aquatic weeds and filamentous algae. Grass carp are almost exclusively plant eaters, so ...

Re: bother trying PaP again after aerophagia failures w/ LPR?

Am still working on trying to boost low ferritin, which can cause sleep disturbances, and is likely compounded by the autoimmune gastritis... if you don't have enough b12, you won't process iron properly. Just had bloodwork done again, we'll see how that is. Never had an iron infusion, but most doc...

Hey Dave, if you'll upload your screenshots to a site like https://imgur.com you'll be able to include the link in your post. Here is an example https://imgur.com/a/VAm1pgj EDIT: Pugsy informed me that my format is incorrect; however, uploading to imgur is the correct process. Just follow the sticky...
