Re: Chin strap
I have TMJ, which is where my jaw locks/aches. The chin strap that I have pulls my chin back, so it is causing my jaw to hurt. Also, it gives me headaches. I have the one that velcros at the top and back. I have adjusted it every which way, and it is painful. Any suggestions on a comfortable, good ...

Re: Do I have Cheyne Stokes breathing?
So I ordered a used ASV and tried it for 3 nights. I've noticed that as soon it comes off ramp, the IPAP spikes up. Screenshots are here: https://i.ibb.co/ZWm4nFr/ASV-1.png https://i.ibb.co/HV72LmL/ASV-2.png https://i.ibb.co/BB44PB3/ASV-3.png ^The first 2 segments of my 3rd screenshot isn't as erra...

Re: Just Venting/Questions
You read the reviews, and then based on experiences and ratings of others, you decide if you want to take a risk to see if the product works for you. Considering the the cost of shipping would be well over the $3.00 restocking fee (if unopened), and a huge loss (cost of product and shipping) if it ...

Re: Just Venting/Questions
How can I prevent this dreaded desert-like dry mouth freaking issue? I either wake up with my mouth cement shut by the dryness or feel like I was left alone in the desert and chugged a glass full of hot sand. @Vako I’ll take a constructive stab at answering this / sharing my routine to prevent dry ...

If you call asking for a clarification "piss and moan" I guess you're the one who needs to go read a few pages on whatever floats your boat 🤦🤷🏻 Find it amusing all you did was spew a few words then rant about my religion "those guys" not a shred of respect regardless if you believe or not. Smh Sorr...

Re: Just Venting/Questions
Anything else out there? https://sleepapneasolutionsinc.com/?page_id=2 Works great. "I modified the strap to leave an opening around the mouth to prevent any claustrophobic feelings and allows the freedom to breathe through the mouth if desired." That part concerns me. So if the mouth is able to op...

I'm sorry, I will leave you alone if you don't want to explain to a concerned user. Another thing I wasn't hijacking your thread since all I'm asking is a clarification of something ON TOPIC, not something I made up new. Sorry and thanks.

Just Venting/Questions
I don't know if CPAP.com members are even active here, but darn, their return policy makes no sense at all. You can return the product UNUSED and pay a restocking fee ( which I don't mind ), but a whopping 15% for a box of Mouth Tape? C'mon now. So explain this: how would I know if X product works f...

Re: Examples...mouth breathing leak, dry mouth, false positive flagging
Can you elaborate because now you have contradicted yourself? In one of your earlier posts, you mentioned that all that is useful is the Air Flow ( not an exact quote but around the idea ). In my post, I'm basically asking again if all the fancy stuff they have is useless and, indeed, just the Air F...

Re: Examples...mouth breathing leak, dry mouth, false positive flagging
So correct me if I'm wrong. We are prescribed all these fancy machines that have all these fancy options to mess around with and the only thing that really truly works as intended is the air flow? So all the data the clinician or DME providers get are forked because all that matters is air flow?
