Re: Dry Mouth
I agree on the mask. If it covers you mouth, it would have an air supply as well. I admit that I have nasal issues and have a deviated septum and may need my turbinate reduction. I know I will get more help here than by my provider. It seems all they are concerned with is the narrow results the ResM...

Re: Silicone Reaction
Thank you, Pugsy. I saw the mask liners, but thought that would not help my leak issues. I will look into the Lansinoh that you mentioned. It is bad enough to deal with the marks left by the straps, but the red "rash" marks makes things even worse.

Dry Mouth
Looking for ideas to avoid dry mouth. I use a Air Fit F20 full mask and suffer from nasal congestion at times. I sometimes use breathe rite strips to help keep my noise open, but the mask, at times, makes things worse as it puts pressure on the upper part of my nose. I had ask my provide about the A...

Re: Silicone Reaction
Rosebud has Petrolatum. Another word for a petroleum. I will try a CPAP gel.

Silicone Reaction
I did some searching on this site concerning skin reaction to silicone. I get light red marks on my cheeks where the mask rests. I noticed that if I use a triple antibiotic ointment in that area before mounting the mask, I do not get those red marks. Rosebud Salve appears to work as well. Anyone hav...

My provider
It appears my provider is mostly concerned about results. I explained to the provider my concern about my average events per hour going up and issues with leaking getting me awake. Well the ResMed app does not show momentary leaks like OSCAR does. He told me I was overthinking the issue. I was given...

Re: Events per hour has increased
It is hard to know your sleep position while sleeping. I do know when I awakened I was on my back or partially on my right side. My events average has come down some. I am pretty new at this, so I am wondering if over time I may expect to experience periods of higher events per hour?

Re: Events per hour has increased
I do start out on my left side, but don't know if I stay there. This is so strange. I think back in December I was below 1 for events per hour. Periodically I would have a night over 6, but usually always below 10. I will try and monitor my sleep position.

Re: Events per hour has increased
Nothing that I can think of has changed in the things you mentioned. Not sure if I want to change pressures. I have issues now with mask sealing at times and I have no idea how to do that.

Re: Events per hour has increased
The pressures were set by my doctor. I sleep on my left side mostly and some on my back.
I have slept this way since I got the machine almost 2 years ago. My average events only went up around the start of the new year and I am trying to find out what has changed.

This is my first try at this, so I am not sure if I have all that you wanted.

Re: Events per hour has increased
Hopefully I snipped the data you ask for from OSCAR. I am still new at this. Only found OSCAR yesterday. My machine is an AirCurve 10 vauto.

Events per hour has increased
I am new to this site and to OSCAR. I found this site because I was looking for help in finding why my events per hour went up on average this past month. I am looking for things I should check that would cause this to happen. I use the ResMed app and my average was running 6 and under. Now I am run...
