Re: CPAP journey - 18 months in

Hi there bran, Sounds like you are doing well after just a couple months! Re: the weight, there is quite a bit of research out there suggesting a link between CPAP and weight gain but what I saw didn't seem to be conclusive and I didn't see any suggested causal link. I'm pretty sure I gained a good...

Re: Mysathenia Gravis and Bipap Machine

I do not know if they would help or hurt in your situation but you might talk to an ENT doc about your problem and what you think it is and would something like "lacrimal plugs" be indicated as a possible solution for your problem. I think I may have worked this out, thx to this great board and one...

Re: CPAP journey - 18 months in

I relate to a lot of what you are saying here, except I have only been on my Bipap machine for 2 months and learning every day. I take Losartan which slows the heart beat down and would therefore improve your "events". Same as when you take deep breaths, hold for 5 and breath out for 8 etc.... The n...

Re: Mysathenia Gravis and Bipap Machine

Could also be some degree of nasolacrimal air regurgitation into the eye. So, I have used different masks, and pillows plus cushions and I think you hit the nail on the head. Last week I had my appt for Medicare approval which I received and told my sleep therapist of the issues, and naturally they...

Help for this weekend pls?

As mentioned previously for whatever reason the N30i Nasal cushion I tried last night again and had all sorts of issues. I mentioned that for the pressures that are fine for my P30i are not for the N30i and Pugsy kindly replied that this was an inigma and had not heard of this situation before. Anyw...

Mysathenia Gravis and Bipap Machine

Im hoping that this is just sheer co-incidence, but about the same time I received my air curve 11 machine, I started to a big decrease in vision and felt that air was getting into the eyes, but could have had a faulty nose pillow as air was shooting out and since then changed and tried different ma...

Re: Changed Pillows/cushion, pressure now off?

Also regarding this site cutting out or not being able to establish a connection as was mentioned a few weeks ago, noticed ...

Re: Newbie and confused.

I can you tell from personal experience that the F30 has an excellent diffuser and does not blow cold air anywhere. Ask your suppliers about a diffuser for the F30i Isn't the only difference between the F30 and F30i that the hose attachment on the i rests on the head? Thanks, but not sure though wh...

Re: Newbie and confused.

you mention not being tech savvy. that's going to make it harder to give you any advice. there is software available that could help you if you'd like to go that route. Certainly give it a good go, not too bad, I managed to copy and paste plus make bold, so one step off the idiot ladder :D :D Many ...
