I'm so much better today, completely recovered from my nasal congestion all thanks to my sinus rinsing yesterday. I can't believe how it actually worked. That leads me to believe that my problems were caused by the lack of humidifier and not a common cold. With the saline rinse, it shrunk my nasal p...

Nosey

Just a quick question: B/C of my rain out problem, last night in the middle of the night after waking up with a wet face, I turned the humidifier off. Now today, I have a stuffy/runny nose. Related? Can no humidifier cause nasal problems? I would of thought that my nose would of been dry, not like t...

Maybe it is related to the mask. And the only reason I didn't notice it before, is b/c it didn't get cold enough for it to happen.

Yes, not at first I didn't...lol...but the last 4-5 days I have been making sure it is completely dry, even the mask and still managing to get the water.

I"ve been setting my level to 1, with it off it was not as comfortable on my little nostrils, esp with nasal pillows. But good news!! I had a better night last night. I moved the machine further away from my bed creating more of a straight line for the hose, to the hook on my wall above my head. Voi...

1 full week on M auto

Well I did it! I spent one very long week on the machine I couldn't wait to get. Much more comfortable to use than the straight cpap. My 7 day average AHI 1.0. My next hurdle is to buy the heated hose and pray that this will solve my rain out problems. The fleece wrapped around the hose is not worki...

#5--I'm wondering b/c this machine has a swivel connector to the hose, that this is causing some to be trapped. Also, the swivel elbow in my mask. Last night, everytime I turned to the side, it "dumped" water on me, like it had been sitting in the elbow. #7-I'm going to try this Everything else I'm ...

I give up!! Last night it was pretty warm out and this am when I woke up my house temp was only 70 and I still had some rain out in my mask. I had my setting to 1. Now it wasn't as bad, b/c until I took off my mask, that's when I noticed it, it wasn't enough to wake me, but still. How can I explain ...

I would think that it is highly possible that you got an ear infection from post nasal drainage in combination with cpap. Maybe the pressure doing something with the eustachian tubes combined with fluid made a good breeding ground for an infection. Also, some peope tend to have more sinus problems w...
