I had put this mask up and thought it was hopeless. Not anymore. Only yesterday I had ordered nasal pillows to try in hopes that I could use thi...

The very same thing has happened to me. I have been on cpap since 8/1. From what my RT tells me is that you should not to be surprised if you awaken and you have thrown it across the room and don't remember. My doctor has always told me it takes at least 2 weeks for thyroid medicine to change your levels. Once they get it at the correct level they only check levels once a year. I have to say dealing with a thyroid problem is a lot easier than sleep apnea. I had my study done 8/1/06 and I am still strugg...

I am one of those who has their thyroid destroyed by radioactive iodine. That was over 20 years ago. The reason for testing of sleep apnea began because of a yearly exam especially to have my thyroid levels checked. Once a year these are done to regulate medicine. The thyroid is very hard to deal wi...

I am new to this sleep apnea but this site has been wonderful. When I had my sleep study, I was totally dumb. Asked no questions and really didn't know what the dr was talking about. Now you bet I am informed especially after reading the posts for the past weeks. Here is my story of a sleep study. I...
