PB, I wrote the Dr a letter explaining why I wanted an M Series Auto as opposed to a straight CPAP (Based on what I learned in this forum) and they were very receptive to my desire to want the Auto. I have had it for 2 weeks and would recommend asking for the auto as opposed to the straight CPAP. Th...

The VA is issuing the M series, also they will allow you to try just about any mask. The DME they work with in CT is very responsive and the VA specifically told me to call them if I had any questions or problems. They had no problem giving me an M series Auto, all I had to do was ask. All they aske...

If you are in need of any of the manuals for the M series Auto, PM me and I can send them to you, I have them all including the Provider setup.

I believe in the freedom of information and feel that we should have all the information available, not just what a Dr or DME feels we should know.

In case anyone else is looking for the manuals, you can download them directly from Respironics.

Here is the link to all their manuals in PDF format.

Thanks for the advice, my second night also went well, so I'm happy to be getting off to such a good start, last night was 8.5 hours on the hose, no Large leaks and my AHI was 2.4. I'm already starting to see a sweet spot forming, but I'll give it a week before tweaking anything so I have a decent b...

My first sleep study was in Dec, In the morning the RT said I had OSA, but could not say more, "I'm not allowed to give an analysis, but yes you have OSA" That day I started my search for information and I found this forum, since then I have r...

I've had a very good experience working with the VA, much better than working with private Doc's and all. I had my sleep study done by the private Dr, they said I have moderate OSA, but won't write a script until the results of my second study are in (I'm still waiting they said it would take 4 week...

lvwildcat, I know I'm new to this, but I've been reading the forum waiting for my study results. I just got off the phone with Cigna and they told me I can't use Apria because they terminated the contract with them. Perhaps this is just for the plan I'm in, but they said I can't use Apria and they a...
