Keep up with the threads, you're in many that talk about how the DS-ASV will not work with sleepyhead.. Try Encore, you'll be so happy with the Aircurve ASV, especially coming from Resmed, it's what I am on and couldn't be happier...I tried Respironics and hated how they felt.. Made the DME special...

I started out washing my Swift FX pillows and hose every morning-for about 3 months- until I tried unscented baby wipes (my damn vacation, so there!) there is a cheaper alternative called the Freedom which would work with the 12v charger for my resmed. and it was $209. then, with the charger, another $65-75 or so...I think it might be a viable alternative....I have to save some $$$ though. if the power goes out, I could just go to the motorhome ...

Two thoughts, maybe, why use a expensive piece of medical equipment as a cheap fan or hair dryer. Why waste time washing your hose it only has filtered house air moving thru it, or air you have already breathed in. Jim

Don't dry the hose at all.
If you want to wash it, do so right before bed.
That way, the excess water will be carried along with the moisture
from the humidifier, saving water, energy, and avoiding . . .
ya know..sometimes things are so obvious. never thought of that :lol: 8)

oh boy. I came home with a DreamStation Autosv. BUT, she is putting in a request for the Aircurve because I said I'm having WONDERFUL results from my s9. I will try it for one night....then...we'll see. It isn't supported by Sleepyhead :'( wonder if there's another type of program. the settings are ...
