I second everything Oz said. As long as you are otherwise healthy, taping is a cheap and easy way to find out if you are mouth breathing. Some people really like a nasal or nasal pillows mask or can't find FFM that works, so it provides a workable alternative. Good luck.

I turned mine off the second or third night. But I think it is a good tool to use for people who are having a hard time adapting, no matter the pressure.

I agree that your numbers are great. You should be very happy with them. My guess would be that you are catching/caught up on some sleep debt so your body isn't as tired, hence you aren't getting to sleep or staying asleep. I would suggest paying attention to your sleep hygiene and see if that helps...
