Re: New F & P Nasal cushion mask called the Solo
What are the noise levels like? I'm currently using a Respironics DreamWear nasal mask.

Re: Airsense 11 - Central Apneas While Awake
I wasn’t referring to CPAP talk.com (I’ve been a member since 2005) or CPAP.com. I was referring to the image repository which I had never heard of before.

Re: Airsense 11 - Central Apneas While Awake
Is there something I'm missing about Resmed machines or is my machine (I've had it for about a week) likely to be defective? No, what you're unaware of is that awake breathing is notoriously irregular, and your machine is just letting you know about it. Just ignore it. Your experience is similar to...

Re: Respironics replacement - is it really necessary to return.
I got a replacement back in November. They shipped me a new Dreamstation 2 and I was required to return my mold machine.

Re: Airsense 11 - Central Apneas While Awake
Except the huge cluster came over a two hour period when I was awake. I have trouble believing my resting breathing could be interpreted as central apneas.

Airsense 11 - Central Apneas While Awake
Long-time CPAP user who recently upgraded (?) from a Dreamstation 2 Auto to a Resmed AirSense 11 Auto. Although central apneas were never a problem in the past, the Airsense has been reporting a large numper of centrals - most of which "ocurred" while I am certain I was awake and unable to fall back...

Re: Replacement DS2 Settings
That’s a reasonable guess, but my DreamMapper software still shows my original DreamStation, as well as the DreamStation serial number.

Replacement DS2 Settings
I received my recall replacement DS2 two weeks ago. I was very surprised to find that all the settings, except for the ramp pressure, were identical to those on my recalled Dreamstation. Moreover, the DS2 was already paired with my phone’s Bluetooth. How did Respironics get these settings? I doubt t...

Re: Philips Respironics Recall V2.0 Questions and Answers
I was pleasantly surprised to receive today a Respironics DS2 Auto (looks new) replacement for my recalled Dream Station Auto. Since my recalled CPAP was only a few months short of five years old, I thought I would have been placed at the back of the replacement queue. Of course, I've got a new Resm...

Re: Flying From Dublin to Philadelphia on American
Update: A U.S. AA representative made a note on my file confirming the CPAP as additional carry-on baggage. I'm supposed to get a call from "disability assistance" 3 days before my departure from the U.S. confirming this for return leg. I'll find out soon enough, but I'm not expecting a problem. But...

I'm trying to get a written response from American. To date, there hasn't been one.

Re: Flying From Dublin to Philadelphia on American
According to Dublin airport customer service, It's airline dependent. Unless I hear otherwise, I'm going to assume I can keep it as an additional carry-on. Worst case (as in London), there'll be a lot of last minute repacking as I move some of my carry-on items (not my CPAP) to baggage. But it would...

Re: Flying From Dublin to Philadelphia on American
Unfortunately, that's only for flights departing from a U.S. airport. Aer Lingus requires prior clearance several days in advance. Can't find a knowledgeable AA rep.

Re: Flying From Dublin to Philadelphia on American
Dublin airport and American's Ireland customer service were not helpful. That's why I'm hoping someone has recent, real-life experience flying with a CPAP from Dublin.
