Would she rather see you in a casket from all the health problems that come from untreated apnea, she needs some education on the whys of cpap. then hopefully she will look upon a mask as a lifesaver

If you do not have a water bottle attached to your oxygen contact your supplies and request one , most likely you will need a doctors order for to pay for a water bottle my hubby complained of dry nose and after pushing for a water bottle for humidification to the oxygen he was more comfortable. I have had great results with added comfort . The key is cutting just the right amount of fabric off to fit your mask and nose trim silver amounts while cutting

Remember your CPAP has a great filter system and should help prevent your asthma from flaring up due to air problems . Hopefully you have found your CPAP easier to use as it will help your asthma in the long run

You may find the Whisp along with a chin strap might help once you get your pressures and ramp adjusted. I use the Whisp ,chin strap and tape my mouth I sleep very well. I use my mask 100% in bed but not when napping in recliner when watching TV in early PM hubby reports I no longer snore when sitting up in recliner .

I think a humidifier would help but also feel a chin strap will help as when you open your mouth even with a full face mask your mouth has a tendency to get dry. I use tape to keep my mouth closed. I currently find a terry elastic sweat band fits my head and I add 2 small squares of double sided velcro to my mask frame comfy and effective. I also tape my mouth and have been doing so for 5 years

Yea your probably right about the need for an increase in pressure I originaly had my full face on APAP with a max pressure of 16 I would be awakened frequently in the night with my machine blowing loudly and my mask leaking I would tighten the mask to the point of uncomfortable even with the wonder...
