Resmed sets that message to pop up at about 21,000 hours. Your machine could go several more months or it could stop tomorrow. There is no way to know.

Re: How often do you replace your humidifier chamber?
I have used 4 machines during my 15 years on CPAP. I only replaced 1 tub because I dropped it. I use only distilled water and my tubs last as long as the machine. All the DMEs are thinking about is $$$$$$$$$$$$.

Re: Faulty (?) Autoset AS10 - need advice
Using EPR could have something to do with it. If you have the EPR set at 3 with a pressure of 10, every time you exhale, the pressure drops to 7. 10/7 10/7, Inhale 10/ Exhale 7.

Re: Airsense 11 humdifier fix?
The humidifier on the AS11 is EXACTLY the same capacity as the humidifier on the AS10. If you are spilling the water, don't fill it all the way and put a towel under the machine.

Re: Bad smelling air when first put mask on
Change the water tub and hose. The smell may be coming from the plastic. When you ran out of water, the humidifier kept heating. It's like having an empty pot on a hot stove.

Unless you tell your supplier to stop sending supplies that you don't need, you will have this same problem with the 11.

Re: I have a question about the Resmed Airsense 10 Water Chamber...
I see that there are 2 models. One is dishwasher safe while the other isn't. I stumbled upon a whole bunch of comments on different sites where the chamber would leak. Part #37299 (Not dishwasher safe) - Cost is roughly $40 Part # 37479 (Dishwasher Safe) - Cost is roughly $20 Intuitively, I would t...

Re: The highest total hours
The Resmed machines have a notice that pops up on the screen at about 21,000 hours. The message indicates that you have exceeded the normal life. That number of hours is about 8 years of service.
