Re: Lower average pressure with AirSense 11 Autoset
I don't know if this will have any bearing on this, but the AS11 has 3 mode settings...CPAP, AUTOSET and AUTOSET FOR HER. The AS10 had only 2. Make sure you are not set to AUTOSET FOR HER.

Have you considered using the Sleep Report on your machines screen? The data is available immediately after getting up.

Hello fellow cpapers! I have been using cpap for several years with varying results over that time. My problem is that last night I recorded an ahi of 39! I am not sure why. I did recently come out of hospital but wasnt on any drugs that may have caused this. I recently upgraded from resmed 10 to r...

Re: Anti Snoring blanket
It does not cure Sleep Apnea. Even a CPAP does not cure Sleep Apnea. It "treats" sleep apnea. You may stop snoring but if you have sleep apnea....you will still have it while you use the blanket.

Re: Confusion over cleaning hose/tubing
A wet hose doesn't matter...it gets wet again as soon as you turn on the machine. To me that's like washing and drying your car and then driving ouit in the rain. In most cases, only your filtered room air is going through the hose.

Re: Lifelong Necessity or Temporary Measure?
The CPAP treats...it doesn't cure. You have low AHI numbers because you are using the CPAP. If you stop using it your AHI may be back to where it was before using the CPAP. There are some people that have got off of the therapy by losing lots of weight. Most people will be on this therapy forever. T...

Re: is the myair app accurate
There are 2 different calculations...The MyAir considers all leaks while the machine only considers large leaks. Both are accurate.

Re: 2 cpap machines
If you are comparing your Philips to the Resmed MyAir, they are not calculated the same. The MyAir is counting all leaks while I believe the Philips is counting only large leaks.

What restrictions? The insurance company is only concerned that you use the machine they paid for. If you don't use it you have to return it or pay for it. I don't think that is unrealistic.

Any standard or slimline hose should fit. Only heated hoses are unique to the specific machine. The standard hoses are available all over ..CVS, Amazon, etc
