Re: Adjust heat on ResMed Airsense 10 for her?

Oh, I understand! IMO the heatplate on my humidifier is very "hot." I have turned it down to 1 and I will see if that makes a difference. Thank you again!

Re: Adjust heat on ResMed Airsense 10 for her?

Thank you!

When you say,

>If it's pretty warm...the air you are going to be breathing is going to be at least that ambient bedroom air temp and turning off the warming feature to the water may not give you the desired results you were wanting.

what do you mean?

Adjust heat on ResMed Airsense 10 for her?

Hi all, I'd like to turn off the heat to the humidifier in my ResMed Airsense 10 For Her. Googling suggests there should be a "climate control" option in the "My Options" section of the control panel. I don't seem to have that option available, perhaps because I'm not using a heated tube? It's high ...

Re: Problem RESOLVED (sort of): battery, Singapore, adaptor

Ok. The transformer blew. It was my fault for not thinking about the fact that I should probably have brought a surge protector with me. I have one now, plus a new transformer being express shipped to me from Canada (because I cannot buy a Canadian plug transformer here in Singapore, which makes sen...

Re: URGENT HELP STILL requested: battery, Singapore, adaptor

Thank you so much for the replies. Here's the update: Weirdly, the machine will still blow air (i.e function) even though it appears to be turning off. That is, it is plugged in and will start up, then will start normal operations - then will appear to turn off in that all lights go off. But if I am...

Re: URGENT HELP requested: battery, Singapore, adaptor

Both adaptors and a different adaptor have the same problem. I cannot charge my battery OR power my machine. ARGH. I'm not in a hotel, I am in a "model apartment" with my model daughter having arrived yesterday and today is a national holiday in Singapore. What could be causing this? Is there some.....

Re: URGENT HELP requested: battery, Singapore, adaptor

I am going to try and find another adaptor. Battery plugged into DIFFERENT outlet WITH charger and adaptor not charging (well, still showing "low power" signal after 2+ hours of charging, I need to check how long it is supposed to take to fully charge a CPAP battery) That outlet, WITH adaptor is pow...

Problem RESOLVED (sort of): battery, Singapore, adaptor

Hi all - I am a Canadian who has just travelled to Singapore with my ResMed + Medistrom battery. Battery worked amazing on overnight flight. My problem is now that I am in Singapore. I have battery adaptors I purchased in Canada. Got to the apartment I'm staying in, plugged in the whole kit includin...

Help with overnight flight, CPAP options in Singapore

Hello all! I am a compliant CPAP (actually, biPAP) user with very severe sleep apnea. I have actually only accidentally slept without my machine TWICE since my diagnosis in 2009. I am now planning a two-month trip from Canada, where I live to Singapore, starting in May - and I'm starting to plan for...

Re: Need new hose - Ontario - where to buy?

Thanks so much for the suggestions! I have a good relationship with my DME but have no time to get over to them or inclination to pay their (much, much higher) prices.

Need new hose - Ontario - where to buy?

I live in Toronto, Canada and want to know where I can buy a replacement hose. These things are all interchangeable for the most part. I want to mail-order a hose from a reliable supplier who will sell it to me cheaply. Advice, please?

Re: Q about card reader/need to check my RESULTS

Thanks for your question.

I finally took my machine into my DME. They are replacing it as it is under warranty. Once the replaced machine comes in, I will gather new data and go from there in determining whether my pressure or stats have changed.

Re: Q about card reader/need to check my RESULTS

Thank you so much for both responses! Just to be clear, I wasn't deliberately storing my card in the machine...no one had ever mentioned a card to me before! As for the body composition change question - you may have noticed I didn't frame my accomplishment as "weight loss" but body fat percentage l...

Re: Q about card reader/need to check my RESULTS

I have a card, and it is stored in the machine. I ended up calling my DME this morning and I am going to go in there and get the data downloaded from the card (whatever is there), and we will go from there. They aren't going to charge me. I doubt my machine is still under warranty - I am coming up o...

Re: Q about card reader/need to check my RESULTS

Perhaps I should have typed out a longer response. What I meant to say is that following those exact instructions (which I happily did for many months after first becoming a CPAPer) does not give me the data I am looking for. What I *do* get is: day: no data / week: no data / month: no data / 6 mont...
