Re: Phillips / Philips Respironics recent recall notice discussion thread
I'm happy that one of my two machines is being replaced in the next couple of days, I think with a DS2. That's great! Can't believe it is finally happening. Still waiting on the other machine.

Re: Best CPAP backup battery?
It's fairly easy to build a 12 volt battery pack with a 35 Ah AGM battery, which combined with a simple adapter, will power a resmed (no humidifier) for somewhere in the range of 3-6 nights. Not very portable, but not expensive, and best of all, will take you through more than a night or two without...

Airsense 10 suddenly develops raging wind!
Hi,
I've got a 6-year-old airsense 10 autoset that one night just started blowing full pressure! I vaguely remember taking apart one of these years ago, and there was a pressure sensor regulator.
Is there any fix for this? Or is it a goner?

Re: Phillips / Philips Respironics recent recall notice discussion thread
I seem to be stuck at the stage of needing to call "Please reach out to us at 888-511-2797 for assistance. and give them my Dr.'s info, and all of my info. I've tried calling the number listed, but haven't been successful at getting through or getting a callback. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is...

Re: Under-Eye puffiness and bags caused by CPAP?
Okay, I've decided to do a controlled experiment. Just ordered the Bleep Dreamport mask, already have some nose pads, and I will do a test comparison with pictures comparing the eye bags while using the Resmed P10 nasal mask with straps versus the strapless Bleep. Will post results once I get them. ...

Re: Under-Eye puffiness and bags caused by CPAP?
I started therapy six months ago and had no problem with under my eyes for the first three months. Now I wake with EXTREMELY large fluid filled bags under my eyes every morning. They slowly reduce 80% by mid-day, but never go away completely. I’ve spoken with my sleep doc. He recommended that I try...

Thanks guys, I appreciate the reassurance. Fax is such archaic tech, and you never know if it's really received.

Re: Is a Jackery 240 or a deep cycle scooter battery better for emergency backup?
Okay here's the skinny on battery backup for the purpose you want which is a very very occasional night of power failure. Lithium ion batteries can do many more cycles before they die and lithium iron phosphate can do virtually infinite cycles. But having a battery that will last 3000 cycles is poin...

3 Free Swift FX masks
Hi, I have three Swift FX masks I'll give away just for postage. I'm located in Silicon Valley, so if anyone is local they can skip postage. Two are FX for men, and one is the pink strap FX for Women mask. All are medium cushions. PM me if you are interested. Just wanted to give them to a fan and no...

Under-Eye puffiness and bags caused by CPAP?
Hi, Long-time CPAP user with dry eyes. I use a Resmed S9 with auto pressures and a Resmed Airfit P10 nasal mask. I mouth tape. I also use Restasis drops at night and have for a long time. I am 66. I've developed pretty large puffy eye bags under both eyes. They are not dark, but they are pretty puff...
