Hi, I think you are very dehydrated (the wine definitely can have that affect) and should be chugging water today - you'd be amazed at the difference it makes, plus it'll wash away anything you don't need or shouldn't have had in the first place.

I just think that OSA hits a lot of us at the same time as our bodies go into a different 'gear' and we gain wt. because of hormones, programming, etc. - NOT eating more isn't enough, we need to eat less, or differently, to stay in neutral.

Hi, and thanks for the endorsement of the 432 as I'm just about to try it out (next wk). My question is about the sizing - I spoke to F&P also, and the rep told me sizing was S = 4 1/4" long nasal bridge to under chin, M = 4 1/2" and L = 4 3/4, which doesn't make sense if your L has only a 4" measur...

As someone who worked in teaching hospitals all my life, I'd like to just put a little perspective on things. As far as the first of Snoredog's lesions go, in the end the MD DID do a biopsy and send it off for histology. And as far as the second (chest) one, there were years between the first 'sight...

What may seem to be seizures in fact may be your body's 'release' of tension when coming out of an episode of sleep paralysis, something some people experience after awakening, but before arising (they can't, because they are effectively 'paralyzed' until it breaks). You need a neurologist to sort i...

Hi, I'm about to have a trial of the 432 in a week or so, and have been doing some research. I don't Know anything for sure, but the consensus seems to be that the 432 is a definite improvement in a few respects over the 431, certainly as far as comfort goes. Will let you know more when I've tried it.

I hope the info on that link isn't just a straight lift from the Canadian Lung Assoc. info. everyone suddenly found out about last week... Looks so similar (the index, anyway), but there's no 'recognition' or mention of how it just suddenly came together (just a few days after the other posting).

Hi - you will get more used to it as time goes on (so long as you do remain on the one shift vs changing back and forth). Do look up Circadian rhythms though to learn a lot more about them.[/i]

Thank you very much Jeff, it's really a help, because there's so little info. (relatively) on the web about it and I have no idea who would have a trial one out here in the middle of nowhere to begin with. It Sounds like it should fit so well, but not worth the risk!

Opinions on Tiara FF mask

Hi, Has anyone used this mask, and can you compare it in general to other similar ones? It sounds interesting from the blurbs, but it would be interesting to know what users have e.g. complained about. I can't find reviews on the site. I know the SNAPP was pretty much a dud, but this is not the same...

Coincidence?

Hi, I've had the same thing for a while - first allergies when outdoors in the fall, and just recently the sneezing fits, but it's not the first time, and I know it is due to sinusitis brought on by the cooler, damper weather following the fall allergies. It won't last, but I do take a non-drowsy si...

Which machine is best?

Resmed is the name of the company, and they make various machines with their own names... the Resmed "whatever". Respironics is the name of another company, and they make various machines, most of which fall under the name of R e mstar... 'whatever'. The Respironics machines seem to be more popular ...

Boycott Resmed

I learned something yesterday while speaking to a cpap online store (not this one), and that's they are going to continue selling the prods at the old prices because they believe that while R. can suggest new prices, they can't legally dictate what prices the stores have to sell at, so regardless of...

Mirage activa help

Hi, it's really, really hard to measure the cushion size diff. in some of the masks as it's not just a matter of 'longer' or wider, but sometimes just a very small overall difference, some of which might be incorporated into the depth vs outside dimensions, and measuring just might not be very accur...

Need help for husband to continue Rx

You say you don't 'bother' him, but he's obviously bothered, though should be more responsible about his treatment as the other poster said. I really can't believe he'll actually quit using the machine though if you leave the room, giving him a lousy fogged out day afterward, on top of everything, b...
