Well, what about a little 'cage' thingy for the nose? I've seen similar things, but can't remember if they were on Cpap masks or not... likely doubtful. Move the min. setting to 7 for a few days or a week and see how it's going - most can't breathe at 4 any time. And if you're back-sleeping, try side sleeping and see if the hypops improve.

Don't know what you've tried in the past, but rather than lowering your max pressure, raise the min. by e.g. 2-3 for a wk at a time and see how it goes... its the one that does the work.

In case you sleep mostly on your back (though your hypopnea result isn't especially high) you might want to try side sleeping for a few nites to see if there's any change.

Depends - if he looked for results after noon hour, e.g. 2 hrs later, all he'll see are 2 hrs of activity because the machine works from noon to noon, so he'd have to look prior to noon for last night's records.

I'm about 45 mins away from seeing 90%+ 'totality' (too lazy to drive an hour for full) and it seems like forever!
