Re: Original medicare doctor visit requirements

I called my dme, asked what they thought about the situation. This particular clerk said, well, we are getting paid for what we bill them, so she thinks I am fine. They do seem to change their mind about stuff. If I called today and talked to someone else, I would get a different answer. Thanks for ...

I have had a sleep dr. for several years and the only thing he does is look at my readout and tell me I am doing great and then they send a report to my dme and the dme gives me my equipment as they see fit. Problem is, my sleep dr. w...

Re: What to do next? Costs, benefits, unemployed

Find a nice cheap auto pap with an sd card. Set the low pressure at about 10, set the high at 15. Look at your results for about a week or less and adjust it from there. Don't forget a nice mask of your choice. Probably will be your biggest problem.

Re: Do any CPAP/APAP users sleep on their back?

I sleep on my back more and more, I think. I have been using a less fluffy pillow. One that allows my head to fall back more. It really helps.

Top off, distilled water only. Almost never clean it, but, distilled water is very important. Tap water leads to gelatinous slime in time.

Re: Need humidifier help!!!!

Thank you Pugsy!! The first morning I woke up and I began wondering later if the humidifer was working because it required almost no water. This morning I woke up and immediately felt the bottom of the humidifier and it was room temp. You have helped me once again and I appreciate it so much. I have...

Yes and thanks for the reminder. I had forgotten those nasty morning headaches since it has been 13 years since I have been on cpap and those headaches have been gone for all that time.
