Sound sleep flowchart cont…..
I found out who makes the rules folks…Pugsy. She/he locked down my previous post so no more comments. To date Pugsy has made over 43000 posts so that means She/he has easily spent over two awake hour years sitting in a chair and surfing this website. She/he better be the proprietor of this website o...

Re: Possible Flowchart to Sound Sleep Success
Fantastic morning to you all. Once again I’m in a great mood after sound sleeping 8 straight hours wearing my neck collar, straight CPAP set at low low pressure of 4.8, and nasal mask. I’m so rested even Lisa’s hateful post just makes me laugh hysterically. But sorry, sugar plumb, I won’t be changin...

Re: Possible Flowchart to Sound Sleep Success
Holy flame war people. I’m getting ready to head home after another productive day at the office, paying taxes, so other losers can spend the day posting mindless drivel on CPAPtalk. So I decide to see if anyone has anything constructive of substance to say in response to my original post. You know,...

Re: Possible Flowchart to Sound Sleep Success
I must say there's few things I enjoy more than causing a bunch of CPAPtalk reprobates to come slithering out from under their rocks. While typing this I am enjoying a fresh hot cup of coffee after, yet again, another wonderful night of sleep wearing my neck collar, CPAP pressure set very low (4.8),...

So Well.... your not related to low IQ Maxine Waters are you? try to understand the flowchart and the intended target it's meant for. I know it's hard for you but try not to bring race into the issue and leap to unfounded conclusions about my avatar.
LSAT I use an auto in cpap mode.

Re: Possible Flowchart to Sound Sleep Success
As stated "this chart is for beginners that are struggling". This is flowchart #1 -first step, simple, straightforward, approach which should work for the majority. Only after trying hard and not having success with flowchart #1 should you go to flowchart #2. Nose breathing during sleep = healthy sl...

Possible Flowchart to Sound Sleep Success
<t>I put together this attached flowchart which (hopefully) will provide a helpful shortcut to CPAP success. It's targeted to the beginner, struggling with CPAP, and continues to have poor sleep. When I started on CPAP, if I had this flowchart (and stuck to it), it would have saved me a couple years...

Re: One year in and I still feel horrible
The trick to cpap is to use the least amount of pressure to get the job done. I suggest using fixed pressure and wear a cervical neck collar to help keep the mouth closed. I run at 4.8cfm and sleep till morning without air escaping through mouth. Took me a long time to figure this out because it's c...

KISS - Keep it simple stupid
Hello miserable sleepers, I have been reading this forum from time to time even though my apnea is under control for over a year new. I did get some good advice here during very desperate times for me. So I'm going to pay it forward with this last simple post. KISS! 1. For the love of Pete USE A CER...

Re: Depression, Suicide, Sleep Apnea and CPAP.
The situation you find yourself in is similar to mine. It took me a long time (many years) to resolve. Here is what works for me and I think it's worth a try for few weeks. What do you have to lose? 1. Wear a cervical neck collar to sleep. Does better job of keeping the mouth closed and only breath ...

Re: Diagnosed UARS--Help with next steps?
All that you are doing is good but add the cervical collar. Keeps mouth closed. Uars is not treatable with cpap. We need a site called uars.com.
People with uars understand what I mean.

Re: Diagnosed UARS--Help with next steps?
In my experience the best way to force nose breathing is: A: use flonase before bed to make sure allergy/congestion is minimized. flonase is available over the counter B: where a cervical neck collar to bed. This prevents the mouth from opening during deep sleep. when the mouth opens your tongue fal...

Re: Woke up for the first time today without a big headache
Enchanter, I had all the same surgeries as you plus a couple more. I haven't used CPAP for 2 years and see no signs of apnea returning. I sleep straight thru the night with normal sleep cycles. I also sleep with cervical neck collar to keep the mouth shut, promote nose breathing and not allow tongue...
