Re: I went to CPAP class!

Those "classes" are mostly a forum for DME lies.
The bullfrog and I were banished years ago!

Advantage plans are classified as Medicare type C.
FYI: the C stands for CRAP.

Re: For Sale: VirtuCLEAN 2.0 CPAP Equipment and Mask Cleaner

I saw a "No clean" at Goodwill. They wanted $19.95.
Still not worth it.
At one time, I might have put it in my fridge, but who wants a YELLOW interior?
Ozone also does icky things you don't see.

Nobody's perfect; but Pugsy comes closer than anybody else.
Fame seeking, or collecting clicks, patrons, or sales does not rock my bed.

Re: effective block for spouse's snoring?

Record her sleep noise.
It is especially good if you can record pauses, snorts, etc.
She probably has no idea that she struggles to breathe while sleeping.
Threaten to buy life insurance for her if she insists on leaving this planet before you.

Re: Insurance Fraud? Airsense 10 and ROTECH.

It is obvious your advantage plan wants you to buy out of pocket.
I suggest CPAP.com, the sponsors of this free forum.
Your old supplier will want the old machine back.
Once you have YOUR machine, you can kiss those crooks good-bye.
A lot cheaper than a lawyer.

Above all, resist the urge to plug it into any so-called "cleaning machine".
Ozone causes DAMAGE, and will void the warranty.

I agree with ozij.
The complete split night sleep study seems excessive.
Overnight professional oximetry should be sufficient--IMO.

Switch the oximeter to a finger on the other hand.
Or put the thing in a drawer, where mine is.

Distract the cat, if possible.
Otherwise, you may be forced to exclude kitty from the bedroom.

I may need to try it again.

Yes, please do narc out the greedy doctor, who is apparently hoping for a big kickback,
regardless of whether or not the patient survives the exam.
