Bummer... sorry to hear this. I am sending positive thoughts and prayers your way.

There has been some advancements in treating oral mucositis resulting from chemo. It may be worth checking out.

Re: Newbie Question about Mask Tightness

Re-adjusting is normal and with time becomes automatic.

Given a choice of suffering pain or making a slight adjustment, I would avoid the pain.

Re: Newbie Question about Mask Tightness

A good exercise is to put some soothing music on and lay down and put your mask on. Once you get everything set, roll t...

Re: Sleep Oxymeter Test

If your goal is to see how well your CPAP is working for you... wear the CPAP during your test.

See if you can do 2 tests. One with and the other without.

Re: Afib and sleep apnea

My Afib didn't resolve with CPAP, but it has been greatly controlled with magnesium.

I take magnesium (trialed under the supervision of my cardiologist) and have altered my diet to include foods with magnesium.

One of the experts in how circadian rhythm effects the body is Stachi Panda. He has many discussions and ideas ranging from how light effects us extending to what time to eat and how that effects us.

The Microbiome and Sleep...

I never thought about sleep disorders as an end stage disease that can be treated... The body is truly amazing in its ability to repair itself when it has the proper materials. CAUTION: If you already "know it all" and are comfortable living "inside the box," don't waste your time watching this. htt...

Re: Have you had a COVID-19 Vaccine or have an appt?

It does not diagnose sleep apnea, but it can provide some interesting information if your sleep is compromised over a ...
