Re: central sleep apnea concern.
Hi everyone. Thank you for your replies. They are very much appreciated. My machine is an S9 ResMed Autoset set at 12-20 cmH2O, with EPR set at 1, using a ResMed Mirage Quattro Full Face Mask. Unfortunately for now, I can't seem to attach an image of last night's applicable graphs. Whenever I click ...

central sleep apnea concern.
Hi there everyone. I have been on CPAP for the past four months and have been enjoying my revitalized days since then. My sleep lab AHI score was about thirty without CPAP. Now, with my ResMed S9 Elite, my AHI averages about 4, but am concerned that I average about 3 centrals per hour, some lasting ...

Re: Cleaning the headgear of Philips Respironics Masks
Thanks Jamis. I shall look into those covers. I never thought of them as hygienic covers for my headgear, but I think you're on to something.

Re: Cleaning the headgear of Philips Respironics Masks
Thanks for the reply Brenda. Am just wondering though, the headgear you are using for your ComfortLite 2 Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask may be of a different material from that of the ComfortGel.

Cleaning the headgear of Philips Respironics Masks
The most popular mask according to cpap.com is the ComfortGel Nasal Mask by Philips Respironics. Its headgear is shared with other PR masks. I just want to know how I should maintain the headgear for such masks. I washed an old headgear and it disintegrated within a month after. I read in the manual...

Re: Air shoots out eye thru nasolacrimal duct when using cpap
Hi Dave. First of all, you will have to see an ENT and/or an opthalmologist to treat your nasolacrimal duct issue. This may be treated so that air will not penetrate from your oral/nasal cavity through your nasolacrimal duct and shoot out the inner corner of your left eye. Second, try to see if your...

Re: Cleaning Help
I alternate the Resmed Mirage Quattro full face mask and the Philips Respironics ComfortGel nasal mask. I have extremely oily skin so I take apart whichever mask I just used and wash only the cushions and the forehead pad since those are the only parts that touch my face. I do this after every use a...

Re: Need some help (data review)
Hello there Justbreathe, I saw the post with your graphs and found it extremely strange that you exhibited an enormous amount of Centrals, two hypopneas, and not a single Obstructive apnea. Am curious what your latest graphs look like after the adjustments with your machine. While it may be true tha...

Re: Feature differences in S9 models?
Bill,
Thanks for the reply. I guess it now comes down to a choice between the S9 Autoset and the DeVilbiss IntelliPAP AutoAdjust. Comments to help me out, please?
Thanks,
Tsubs

Re: Best Machines
Am a newbie looking to get my first machine. Are the S9s reliable? Am from the Philippines and warranties don't apply here since PAP manufacturers have no reps here. Whatever unit I choose, I have to have somebody hand-carry it here. Any warranty claim means the same trouble for a friend who will ha...

Re: Feature differences in S9 models?
Thank you robby sue for the very detailed description of the S9 series and its variants. Am quite curious though how you know so much about it considering that it appears you are currently using a PR machine. Anyway, am a newbie looking towards buying the S9 Autoset as my first machine, but have bee...
