Insert to keep nose open?

Larry's dentist recommended something to help keep his nostrils open and said, " I use it myself in addition to my cpap" . Anyone know what he might have been talking about? He spoke so quickly at the appointment that I couldn't keep up and now can't read my own writing and I hoped to order the item...

Re: Titration results - they think he no longer needs O2 bled in

The titration study was a follow up to a 3 days hospitalization for low o2 sats and feeling generally horrible. (He was testing 85- 89 at home - ER got similar results. He was transferred to a bigger hospital and admitted. No fever or other signs of COVID - blood work, lungs showed a "small" PE that...

Titration results - they think he no longer needs O2 bled in

Hi, We live in the US in Ohio. I'm wondering about the standard for discontinuing his oxygen. He's been on 3L at night with his cpap for the last 10 years and the person who called the results said they can ordered him a new cpap - his is 10 years old - and he can discontinue his oxygen. He had 10 a...

2nd hand Dreamstation ST30 model DSX1030H11C won't let me change settings

Asking for help please. I can get in the provider area and see the settings for the previous patient EPAP 12 IPAP 16 BPM 12 TI 1 but I can't get the system to let me change any of those settings. I'm guessing there is another area with a setting I need to change so that these then become changeable....

Wanted -and found Tks

Husband was discharged from hospital, after 4 days, when they were able to use a bipap running for 3 hours on and 3 off repeatedly which helped to open up his lungs from the unexplained atelectasis and help keep his O2 sat in the 90's. Unfortunately the insurance requires a sleep study to qualify fo...

Thank you. There are no known lung issues and we’ve done well with our Resmed S9’s so staying with the Resmed sounds good to me.

Husband's been on cpap resmed S9 8-20 for the pressure, with a Quattro FX FF mask for almost 10 yrs with 3L of oxygen at night- no oxygen during the day. He didn't feel well this week and when I checked it his o2Sat was 88. Albuterol treatment and 2L o2 didn't help much so Dr had him go into ER thin...

DreamWear nasal mask is good, because....

After two nights I had soreness under the nose and a pimple! (I'm 55 years old for goodness sake.) I added a cotton cloth cut from an old tee shirt to fit the design part against my face and cut out a very small area for the air. It works like a charm now. The cotton also decreases the leaking and r...

Re: ResScan- how do I print all notes? (icon to left of reports)

Due to the effect different meds have on his breathing I actually enter med changes in the notes area that can be reached by clicking on the yellow note pad icon just to the left of the reports icon. Then when I see a pattern of increasing or decreasing apneas I have a better idea of what might be t...
