Re: CPAP and coughing up blood

I, too, think it's mouth breathing. The high is set to 15, and I believe that's too high. The sleep study doctor said I function well at 11 since I don't sleep on my back. I don't know how to change the pressure or even check to confirm what it is. I have to go through the company to officially adj...

Re: CPAP and coughing up blood

I"m about to go to Urgent Care with a sample of the bloody mucus and ask to be checked for cancer. That should get something to happen. It's good you are seeking medical testing. My mouth is extremely dry when using the AirSense 11 and I've adjusted the humidity with no relief. I am using a full ta...

reflux at night
Are you aware that untreated OSA is a common cause of reflux? During the struggle to breathe, stomach contents may be expelled into the esophagus or even into the mouth in the worst cases.

I have this pillow. The link is not to a pillow. It's to dozens of pillows (616 results). Oh sorry, let me try again. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BG8Z9FXF/?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B0BG8Z9FXF&ref_=sxts_sparkle_sbv&qid=1711413963&pd_rd_w=lELE6&content-id=amzn1.sym.4870a952-0dfa-4beb-9d2a-7a52537f019d%...

I was told there’s a pillow with cut outs on the side to accommodate for the mask and tube.
Look here - https://www.amazon.com/s?k=cpap+pillow+ ... e+sleeping

Read some reviews and note the ratings.

You will find the choice of pillows is subject to individual preferences.

Re: Best pillow for side sleeper

I just use a regular pillow. Make sure it's of a height so that your neck is straight with your spine. The neck should not be tilted to either side. Here are some more tips: Lie on your side with your head on the pillow. Ensure your chin and neck are aligned in the center of your shoulders, and your...

💗💗💗💗💗💗💗

Hang around and tell others your story. Lots of people come here taking sedatives and anti-depressants when they should have been prescribed CPAP.

Has to do with the progressive jaw advancement that needs to have continuity, or you're back to square zero every time you re-start using the dental appliance instead of cpap.
Seems like the device stretches connective tissues which shrink over time when the device is not used. Just guessing.

I was once in an asthma forum online where a woman insisted that a fan blowing in her face treated her sleep apnea, because it blew air into her mouth.
The fan is proven to work. Sold on cpap.com - https://shorturl.at/rDJT1
