Re: How to turn off Remote monitoring
Thanks to all for responding. I have had my machine for over 2 years now. I only need to report my date once a year to the sleep centers" doctor to renew my prescription for my supplies, which I get through Medicare. I only knew my data was being sent to MyAir because when I went in today for my app...

How to turn off Remote monitoring
I have a Resmed AirCurve 10. The MyAir remote monitoring is on. How do I turn it off? I know how to get into the Clinical Menu but can not find where to turn off the auto reporting to MtAir.
Thank You for any help

SCREW the doctor! Listen to your OWN body, and don't taper faster than it allows you, so the anxiety and such doesn't get too much for you.
If this doctor is this way towards you now, I'd suggest you demand another one as soon as you can, as he isn't likely to change.

Re: adding water detection to future cpap/bi-pap machines
OK. This thread is driving me crazy. LOL. The design is really straightforward and trivial. You put a reservoir of water (any height) next to the humidifier. Run a small hose with an in-line one way check valve and a tiny electric pump ( battery powered if you like) from your reservoir into the bot...

Re: Melatonin
I wish I knew. I take 3 to 6 mg from Trader Joe's. The dose depends on the person, I have heard that if you take too much, for you, it will cause middle of the night wakening. But I don't know if that's correct or not. If i wake, I take more...  I have heard there is a sustained release a...

Not the pressure.
My pressure starts at 12 and goes up from there. Wish i had your low pressures.

Re: At what point You can be banned from ONLINE store for trying on masks?
Your problem might not be the mask per se, but the "TYPE" of mask. For example, there is NO FFM that works for me. My face is the problem, small chin and face. However a Pillows or nasal mask works great...as long as I keep the mouth shut. If you are a mouth breather, try a soft cervical collar or c...

Re: adding water detection to future cpap/bi-pap machines
I'm not sure if my arguments are sound but I do think I can make it work with the basics I stated. I don't know if my machine is even really mine since the VA gave it to me so I will see if I can find one to experiment on. How will we determine success or failure? Even if it doesn't work will be fu...

Re: adding water detection to future cpap/bi-pap machines
I ran out of water last night. I never ran out of water on my S9 VPAP. So why not make the water tank capable of holding enough water...stupid design flaw. Guess I will try turning the temp down. Right now it is on auto. A five gallon HH tank won't fit in the overhead luggage storage, We have XPAP ...
