Never mind. I was searching on Cpap pro. I only found nomask when looking for a url to post. A search on that answers everything.
Please excuse the interruption.

CPAP PRO II?
It is impossible to search on this topic. I did scan about 4-5 pages looking for the subject and didn’t see it, sorry if this has been discussed before. I have a Resmed Autoset 10, MyAir results are generally 100% with occasional dips to the high 90s due to leakage, so what I have works and usually ...

Re: Replacing Resmed S9 Autoset
Just to finish this thread, I got my new ResMed Autoset 10 for her today. It took an extra week since they didn’t bother writing down my request and had a Dream machine ready for me. I refused that and asked for what I wanted, they ordered it and had it in a week. Zero copay on the insurance, I can ...

Re: Lost a lot of weight and sleeping terribly
Here's a crazy question - after losing 70 lbs do you still have sleep apnea? I was told losing weight was one of my options when I was first diagnosed. The machine was easier but still an incentive to drop some pounds.

Re: Replacing Resmed S9 Autoset
Just to follow up. My DME called and said my insurance covers 100% of a new machine (may have a $35 copay) but I need a new Rex. I have a regular Dr appointment in a couple weeks so hopefully I can get it then.

Re: Replacing Resmed S9 Autoset
Thanks Pugsy. I looked at those covers and was considering waiting until Friday and ordering one with overnight shipping Saturday delivery for $125, but then decided the $5 regular shipping isn't bad. I've decided the same thing you said, it's better to have another option for the same price. And I ...

Re: Replacing Resmed S9 Autoset
Wow, thanks for al of the quick feedback. And thanks for helping me keep a truck off my nightstand. Based on what I'm hearing I will work with my Dr to get a Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset device with a heated hose. I'll keep my S9 as a backup and travel machine since without the humidifier it is smalle...

Replacing Resmed S9 Autoset
It's been 5 years since I started on CPAP, I've used it every single night and am sleeping much better. I can't say I love being on a hose but it is not a big deal and the benefits are certainly worth it. But you all know that. My question is what's changed in 5 years? I am due for a new machine (15...

Re: Travel machine
OP here. Three nights with no humidity (from the machine, it's pretty humid here in NC). All had AHI , 1/0, so I think I'm good to go travel with just the base. I guess the key is to just pack the base/brick/hose, etc in the suitcase, forget the travel case. Minimal difference between that and a tr...

Re: Travel machine
Thanks all. I'll try my S9 with no humidifier, see how I sleep with that tonight. Yes it's best just keep what I have and go with that.

Travel machine
My name is Fred and I have sleep apnea. I've been on the mask for 3.5 years. I found this wonderful place when first diagnosed, you saved me from a brick and I got an S9 Autoset that has and continues to serve me wonderfully. I can't remember the last AHI >5.0, and it is usually <2. But travel with ...

Re: Your sleep doctor's most inane statement
Sleep Dr after 90 days on the mask: I can't read the data off of your card, but I talked to the tech and you have already reached compliance so it doesn't matter. Come back in 6 months. Bye.
I'll think about seeing a sleep Dr in 6 months, but not her.

Re: Like we need more software threads... ResScan or Sleepyhead?
Well ... That settles it. I will use one, or the other, or both, or neither. Sheesh. Seriously, though, thank you all for the input. Did you really expect a specific answer? BTW if you are running on a Mac you don't have a choice, SleepyHead is your only option. Now go head and ask which is better,...
