Re: Waking up with headaches after a nap?

I take my nap at 2pm till 4pm on weekends only. I ALWAYS mask up and feel like I've slept all night when I wake. What's the use of having the thing if your not gonna use it, whether it be for napping or an all nighter...

Re: New CPAP related insomnia after 12 years of CPAP therapy

Hi Northsider, I have a thought about your popping, and its just a thought. Maybe a drop or 2 of water carry over or rainout is making the pop and the sound is carrying up the hose feeling like its in the throat. Mine has done that before when I overfilled my water tank. It makes a popping noise as ...

Re: Colonoscopy & BiPap

Well i'm not a fan of scopes but it did prove beneficial this past year. In the hospital waiting for the doc to share the results on my cscope. His statement kinda surprised me, he said we found something. Imagine the look on his face when I told him not so as I haven't lost anything in there. Anywa...

Re: 2+ Years of CPAP and not enough DEEP sleep so still tired

Several things that helped me get better sleep... 1, use darkening shades on windows, darker the better, no light 2, keep the room temp around 69-70 deg at night or whenever u sleep 3, no noise unless u need white noise to help u relax my wife researched this info and I would say it works for us...w...

Hi Steve,
Folks that can help you are going to want to know your pressures low to high.
Possibly some sleepy head screenshots to further eval you.

Re: Airsense 10 making a wheezing noise

, I know my S9 light comes on, it lights up the room... 8) That's so you can see to make it to the bathroom! :) Funny thing PR, I no longer make potty calls during the night since starting cpap. The light on my s9 sure is bright though, I checked this AM and my 10 does light up the screen, just not...

Re: Still having problems with nasal congestion

Hi Larry
When I was having bad allergy attacks my doc told me to do the saline rinse, that helped tremendously during allergy season. That was years ago, now I use a Neti pot to rinse sinuses when things flair up. I had congestion also, might be worth a try. Good luck.

Re: Forest Fire Smoke

Hi Paul, just a thought, cigarette smoke can get odor into the cpap machine so with that in mind, just my opinion i would say the filters would not keep out the smoke itself but maybe keep particulates out. Hey its worth a try anyway. Good luck.

Re: Burning smell from CPAP - Greatly reduced

Dunderhead said, " . . . I also started to dump the water into the sink or toilet instead of back into the bottle. . . . " You were doing WHAT? Pouring distilled water back into the original bottle---just as I suspected, DunderHead. Who does that, anyway? Dumb, dumb, DUMB! We all know how costly di...

Re: Airsense 10 making a wheezing noise

I know that the OP asked about the airsense 10’s noise level but what is this mention of a light? I have a AS10-AS and I do not recall seeing a light other than the screen’s backlight. Hi Steve, I guess one would call it a courtesy light that comes on. Its just the illumination of the screen, not l...

Re: Airsense 10 making a wheezing noise

Hi, Mine made a little noise too, but I didn't hear it after I fell asleep. I also moved it to the floor just so the light wouldn't wake up my wife at 4 am.... 8) What light is that? Mine doesn't have one after it starts. I'm thinking my light comes on when I turn off the machine, being on the grou...

Re: Trouble with Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset

I tried on-off feature last night after resetting, worked like it always has so maybe I laid my mask down different but I will do more troubleshooting if it happens again. A lot of good responses for me to try. Thanks... let us know! Will do....stay tuned. :) i'll stay right here, staring at the sc...
