disconnect the unit from the humidifier and see if it still makes the noise. Then see if there is water in the tubing. It could be that you need to decrease your humidifier setting or insulate the tubing

has anyone had a tavel cpap ( transcend or Z1 ) longer than a year? And has it held up?? I have a customer that's brought his transcend back for the second time in less than a year.
