Re: Airfit p10 strap issues and solution

That's brilliant! Thank you. I've been using a P10 for about 6 years now. Yes, the strap shrinks a bit if you wash it in hot water, but despite doing that regularly, I find that after about a year my strap is 1" - 1½" longer than a new strap. That would depend on the size of your head, I suppose. I ...

Re: OSCAR v1.1.0 is now Released!!

Thanks to the developers of Oscar, and previous to that, Sleepyhead. These programs have been and are a wonderful tool to monitor my sleep apnea status. As a Mac user, I appreciate the Mac version having been updated at the same time.

Kudos to you all.

Re: OSCAR is Released

This is fabulous. I thank the developers, and I thank Jedimark for his tireless efforts on SleepHead. I'm on a Mac and it's great to see a new Mac version of this software. I've benefited no end from the ability to analyze my data on SleepyHead in the past, and learned so much from this forum during...

Re: Forest Fire Smoke

There's now a lot of smoke from forest fires in the air where I live. The AQI (Air Quality Index) is the worst ever. Does anything think that hypoallergenic filters would do something for this (https://www.amazon.ca/Hypoallergenic-Disposable-Universal-Replacement-AirSense/dp/B079Z1DHBM/ref=sr_1_1?i...

With the P10 you can remove the headgear from the frame. Washing it and soaking and then allowing to dry lets it shrink back.
Thanks. I do that once a week already. I buy new headgear every year, and the one I have on the unit now is about 6 months old.

Re: Am I getting the AHI that Sleepyhead reports?

However, on many nights my pressure is maxing out for much of the night - please see https://www.icloud.com/sharedalbum/#B0S5oqs3qDsZFn. Does this mean that my reported AHI is false? No, it doesn't mean that your AHI is false, It just means that your AHI might be a bit better if the pressure was al...

Am I getting the AHI that Sleepyhead reports?

Hello: There's a bit of a story to my query. I use a ResMed P10 nasal pillow mask. Used that for about 3½ years now. Love it, but as time has gone by I guess I've changed, as I've had to make some adjustments. I used to obsess about getting my AHI as low as possible. For a long while I was running p...

Re: Cheapest place to buy supplies in canada?

Hi Dave:

I know they're out of Florida, but I've never been dinged for duties or brokerage fees. They're always marked "Medical Supplies," or something similar, and maybe those are exempt.

Re: Cheapest place to buy supplies in canada?

It's worth checking out a few sites. I've discovered that some things are cheaper on one site, other things are cheaper on another site.

I myself have used mainly https://canadacpapsupply.com/, with no complaints, and good prices for most items.

Re: Introduction

I'm not sure about rentals, but I believe that https://canadacpapsupply.com/ might have cheaper prices. I've used them for close to 4 years now. I can't say I've compared all prices, but I just ordered replacement pillows and headgear for my P10 mask, and both items were cheaper here than on http://...

Re: Trading higher AHI for less leaks

I've been using a ResMed P10 mask for almost 3 years now. Very happy with it for a couple of years, but during the last year or so I've had unacceptable time over the leak rate threshold. Averaging 22%. you have replaced the mask strap in that time, right? Oh yes, a few times. loose strap (wash in ...
