If you're a smoker that's generally the easiest explanation

Re: Vitamin B-12 Oral Supplement
Well, that's pretty much a given, isn't it? Any other methodology wouldn't make any sense.Jay Aitchsee wrote:I think anyone taking a supplement should test before and after, otherwise how does one know they've overcome a deficiency, or if they had one to begin with, or if they're taking too much of a good thing?

Re: Paper Tape Made All The Difference In My Leaks!
Now this is brilliant. I never would have thought of this in a million years. Its a great idea....If I get anything too sticky, I just jump on in the shower with the tape on. The hot moisture allows it to ease on off

Re: hand swelling
Quite odd. Usually this kind of swelling is due to a fluid retention/distribution issue, but your diuretic should be taking care of that, unless the dose is too low. Def. consult your primary care physician ASAP, issues like this can be an indication of other possibly serious issues. Some health iss...

I personally find their printable "measurement tool" to be crap. It told me a small would fit, I needed a medium.

Re: SpO2, Heart Rate, & AHI Reported By APAP
I feel fine, which is why I also find the AHI suspect and that my sleep med. doc is likely correct.
I'll have to look at the flow rate chart and see if it shows anything.

Re: SpO2, Heart Rate, & AHI Reported By APAP
Is there any easy way to tell the size of the inhalation in the SleepyHead software to differentiate a normal breathe from a deep one?

Re: SpO2, Heart Rate, & AHI Reported By APAP
My "unusual breathing pattern" is apneas that are extremely short in duration, ~15 seconds, then I take in a good breath, so there is no significant change in SpO2 and HR. However, my machine still flags this very short apneas as OA or CA events. My sleep medicine doctor said they are so short and w...

SpO2, Heart Rate, & AHI Reported By APAP
I've had trouble for the last 4 months or so with my machine reporting just a ton of CA & OA, so I had another sleep study done, and my doctor said it was the machine reading my breathing pattern, which is unusual, wrong, and flagging events incorrectly, so I just needed to ignore it. I wasn't compl...

Re: Sleep Apnea and Low T for Men
For those of you with Low T, consider getting your Vit D level checked. The latest research in endocrinology publications indicates that there may be a link between low Vit D and low T.

UTI? Absolutely no part of your urinary tract should be interfacing with your xPAP. If it is, you were either misinformed about how to use your xPAP, or you need to find a new fetish.

Re: Cleaning unreachable parts inside the machine
#1 rules of nearly any machine, not just xPAPs, if you can't easily get access to it, you aren't meant to touch/clean it, or its meant to be done by a trained professional with the right tools and training.

Re: Experience with Valdoxan/Agomelatine?
Agomelatine was never approved in North America so no one from there will be able to tell you much about it. Overall it has a very troubled approval history as the company developing the drug had a difficult time proving, in a general population, that it actually worked. Using subgroup analysis they...

Re: Which ASV Machine Is It That Can Be Switched To APAP Mode?
Seems like I'm better off keeping my APAP machine until its mine then getting him to switch me to ASV so I can use either machine depending on my symptoms at that time

Re: AirSense 10 Humidifier badly discoloured after first use
I have had my new tub for 5 days, so far no marks in the tub. I did turn down my humidity and have worked my way back up. If the marks reappear I will be sure to post. That's good news, 13 nights use on my original AirSense 10 and two new tubs every single night I would get the discolouration. ResM...
