Re: New User Exhausted Next Day

I'm two years in and still feel wiped out. AHIs under 1; used "Sleepyhead", set the pressure up, set the pressure down.........

You may have to learn to live with it; the "gold standard" isn't so golden for many of us.

Re: Fear of sleep or dying in your sleep

What's so bad about dying in your sleep? I think that's a great way to go.

Re: Its not a "journey".

Just a thought, have you had your thyroid function checked ? Might be a cause of MANY symptoms, depression being one. Good luck ! Video advice: https://youtu.be/-ECUtkv2qV8 Yes, it was normal. Low normal? or high normal? If it was low normal follow it up. My daughter has all those symptoms at low n...

Re: Its not a "journey".

I understand your frustration and I'm sorry you are going through it. I'm just trying to start and I can't get past my doctor. It's been 2 weeks and he still refuses to release my slew study unless I use the company he wants me to use. I am already beyond frustrated!! Fuck him! You paid for it, its...

Re: Its not a "journey".

From your other thread it appears you've significantly reduced your apnea events, and for all intents and purposes your sleep apnea is under control using the therapy you're on. So it looks to me like you have other unresolved health issues beyond sleep apnea. I have friends suffering chronic fatig...

Re: Its not a "journey".

Hi, you said you don't want antidepressants, but I feel you may be cheating yourself in that you're possibly denying (or don't understand) that you are likely quite depressed, but blaming it all on lack of sleep (a big symptom in depression). The idea for so many in trying (just trying for at least...

Re: Its not a "journey".

Noctuary, is there anything you have noticed that makes the fatigue worse such as particular foods? Anything that makes it better?
Nothing I can see. I'm just tired everyday.

Re: Its not a "journey".

two years into this, and you're still complaining about the same things you were when you started. though you did end up getting a non-brick, but that's the only improvement you've made. And then I shelled out more for a laptop to use sleepyhead, and switched to a full-face mask, then had blood wor...

Re: Its not a

I do. But you'd be surprised how difficult it is, when you look into it. it's always easier to complain endlessly than do ANYTHING... I'm not suggesting WHAT you do, that's entirely up to you.... just get off your ass and quit the incessant eeyoring. As if two years into this I've done nothing.

Re: Its not a "journey".

Listen to the members who are offering you encouragement and positive resources. Like someone else has already said, ignore the grumps. I am the grump. Call someone and get yourself some help. I know you have pretty much ignored my suggestions in the past of antidepressants but I am going to sugges...

Re: Its not a

Hmmmm. Sleepyhead was of no use? Or you didn't know how to use it properly? Not trying to be an ass and not trying to say you are not intelligent. It is just something that could be hard and or tricky for some people. But if you want it to work you really have to keep working at it. Which means fin...
