Re: New Users
TY Kindly Weroberts. There are a few here that enjoy acting up. I am 7 weeks into Cpap and not a day goes by when someone does not attack me. I feel these people are just unhappy and maybe even miserable. Someone said it here before--don't engage them. Harder said than done. In any event, hopefully...

Re: marijuana and sleep apnea
Correlation is not causation. Evidence is not proof.
But, evidence and correlation are requirements for proof of causation.

Calm down, Julie.
You've never displayed a sense of humor. Too set in your ways to develop one.

Re: surprised at self treating
I disagree about treating yourself. Would u attempt your own blood test? Diagnose and treat your own diabetes? I do test my blood several times per day and adjust my insulin. A qualified sleep dr/pulmonologist who has a respitory therapist in the office is the best way to go. Besides if you have in...

Re: Starting Journey Before Sleep Study
I understand that until I get a sleep study I cannot confirm You said you wake up gasping for breath. Ask your roommate if you snore. I can actually confirm this myself. Recorded 2 nights of sleep and I definitely snore. Sometimes it gets a bit loud, but it is never too loud. In that case, I would ...

Granny. You seem to be very verbal --Get the facts. I said sleep apena occurs mostly as you get older. Does not does mean someone younger cannot have it. If anything, you only know when it was diagnosed, not when it commenced. Can I make that any clearer for you? True that. From my personal experie...

There is a favorable review Favorable???? the machine is kind of noisy and it’s best for it to run when it won’t bother anyone. As a matter of fact, the machine is so loud that we can imagine an irritated dog barking at it every time it goes off. We didn’t do any bacterial sampling, so we can’t att...

Re: Bring Sleepyhead data to appointment?
My sleep doctor specified the brand and model of machine I was to get. My prescription called for a Resmed auto bilevel machine. I've used two different sleep practices. Both doctors prescribed the brand and model of machine. (Fortunately they were top-of-the line autos by ResMed.) These doctors ta...

Re: Bedroom plants.
Once again the village idiot inserts non-information unrelated to the question. At least he admits he doesn't know about plants. Add that to the other things he doesn't know about, including spelling, grammar and punctuation, and you get a real picture of the man. I was thinking of something to des...

I'm curious, why do you suggest a full face mask and cool air? Because it seemed to help him, and some people think what helps them will help everyone else. He seems to be in Carolina which has a hot and humid climate. You seem to be in Oregon which has a cooler climate. Warm air from the humidifie...
