Re: DME/insurance or buy online? Same price, what do I do?
If it is the same price buying it through insurance, I would want it to apply to my deductible. I went through my insurance and never had to prove compliance. My insurance paid the 80%.

Re: New User / Questions / Titration Results
Make sure to get a copy of your prescription to keep for yourself. That way, you have control over where you can get your supplies. You do not have to limit yourself to one supplier. You can get much info about the different machines at our sponsor's website, www.cpap.com.

Re: Buying used CPAP Dreamstation auto worth the risk?
I met in the library. We have desks with electric outlets and some privacy available. Bring your own mask and long hose. Set up the cpap and use it. Smell for cigarette smoke. Check the run hours yourself. Don't rush yourself.

Re: Buying used CPAP Dreamstation auto worth the risk?
I want to know where you can buy a new Dreamstation Auto for $400? Is that from a 2nd hand sale? Or are you the original owner from a legit dealer? Because you would have a factory warranty if it is the latter. 2nd hand machines are fine to use. Wipe down with alcohol to clean it, you can replace th...

Re: Tips to help with Daily Cleaning routine
Whatever cleaning you are doing now, cut it in half. And leave the long hose alone. There is nothing in it. After you figure out you are still alive after a month, cut your cleaning routine in half again. That should do it. Baby wipes are great to clean your mask where it gets oily from your skin. A...

Re: Newbie seeking opinions on AirMini vs. DreamStation Go
I had a very easy time adjusting from the Resmed Airense 10 to the Dreamsttion GO. I did not notice any difference at all between the 2, except the noise level, which was hardly noticeable after 5 minutes. My pressure is set to auto, 10-14 and both machines give me similar results. I do not use exha...

Re: Travel CPAP suggestions (Not Z1, Mini or Transcend)
You could just get the side cover for your Airsense 10 and use that. It would allow you to use the Airsense 10 without the humidifier. Or, I like my Dreamstation GO. But you don't save much in size and weight over the Resmed Airsense 10.

Re: Newbie seeking opinions on AirMini vs. DreamStation Go
I have a Dreamstation GO. I can compare it to the Resmed Airsense 10. It is more noisy than the Resmed Airsense 10. But the excess noise is what I hear when I inhale and exhale using the GO. It is not the nose the machine is making, it is the sound of my own breathing. It is not a whining or annoyin...

Re: Newly Diagnosed me Looking for a Machine
You will not have a humidity chamber for water with most travel machines (AirMini). Most people like the added humidity.
