Re: Dreamstation Go experiences?
I bought the GO case that holds the machine and battery pack. It is very compact. I put that case inside my Resmed carry case, along with the mask and long hose and electrical cord, when I travel.

Re: Self Diagnosing need help reading and using machine
If you want to do a test, you could sleep with your cpap set at the lowest setting, cpap 4 pressure, and see what your AHI is with the lowest setting. That could show your AHI go higher than 5.

You can get a chinstrap that will keep your mouth shut. I use one that www.cpap.com sells. Works great. Works with any type mask. I use just a nasal mask (over the nose) and then put the chin strap on over it.

Re: Self Diagnosing need help reading and using machine
Your graphs are lower than 5 AHI because your cpap is working and preventing events from happening.

Re: Dreamstation Go experiences?
Wow- lots of questions. I have a Dreamstation GO and like it. The battery lasts for two- eight hour nights. You can use any drinkable water in any machine. You do not save any space or weight with the GO compared to a Resmed Autosense 10 machine. The GO is heavy and just about as big as a regular cp...

Re: Clearing the Mask and Tubing from Ozone after cleaning
I hate to see it when new people get taken advantage of. It's hard enough being a new cpap user, let alone have to fight off some company just looking to make a quick buck. The longer you use your machine, the less you worry about germs and trying to keep everything sanitized. Soap and water work ju...

Re: Had it with local CPAP suppliers
This is the Lincare # I use. 888-544-2715. It is the main call center, not a local office. If the person you talk to isn't helpful, just redial till you get someone who is. Plus they will need your prescription sent to them. For billing- I call the # on the invoice, get a recorded message, and...

Re: Had it with local CPAP suppliers
I tried Apria, that was a disaster. Then I tried Lincare. I use Lincare for the mask and it's parts, because they are in my insurance network, and it's been ok, with some hiccups. But for most inexpensive stuff, filters and the cheap unheated long hoses, I use www.cpap.com and just pay for it- much ...

Try a mask with straps in a different place. look at Resmed P10, and Swift FX Nano.

Re: Likelihood of getting SD card from Kaiser/Apria?
If you went through insurance, you could call your insurance company and report it missing, and let them call Apria for you. I'm sure the ins co doesn't appreciate paying for something you did not get.

Re: Airfit P10 Mask - Causing Skin Pigmentation Issues?
I am getting those dark spots on my face, especially cheeks, too. I think it is more to do with my age. I just started using some fancy miracle spot remover cream, so we'll wait and see what happens. Is your dark skin exactly where the straps go? Mine are all over.

Re: Dents in hair.
I have a few different masks that I switch use of. That way I don't get the same dents every night. That seems to help. Also, I wash my (short) hair in the morning and fluff it up with some hairspray. Try using a blow dryer with a round brush. Good luck. I use the pad a check products and find I sti...

Re: Which Travel CPAP Machine should I get? + a few other questions
I use a Resmed Airsense 10 Auto, and also have a Dreamstation GO. There is really no difference in size when traveling with either. Whatever machine you use, you still have the long hose, and mask. Those take up the same amount of space no matter what machine you use. So the size of the machine is r...

Just so you don't feel alone-- I am thin and a small person, and have severe sleep apnea. Don't let anyone tell you it only occurs in overweight people.
