Looking for Resmed Air 10 schematic or repair manual

I have a Resmed Air Sense 10 and the water heat stopped working. I tried cranking it up and still nothing. I wanted to find out if it is the heating element, the temperature sensor, or the power going to it. I took off the cover and there are a number of test points (electrical) available. However I...

tooth/jaw pain from mask fastener

I switched masks and the new one has a magnetic fastener, Resmed Airfit. That makes it thicker than the old one. The fastener sits over the jaw joint. I now have pressure sensitivity at that point, lower teeth. It only bothers me when I brush my teeth. It tends to be the soft tissue. My dentist was ...

tsa and carry on water

Has anyone tried to carry on distilled water through TSA and of course I need more than 3.4 Oz. There is an exemption for medical liquids but I can't tell if distilled water qualifies. I can't check a bag so I have to carry it on if I am going to take it. It will be too awkward to buy some there. I ...

wisp frames are all over ebay, btw. (49 results at the moment.)
Right you are. It has been a while since I checked. I even found a complete mask. I thought that was against the rules.

Re: Phillips Respironics Wisp mask high breakage failure rate

I don't think they can sell the frame on Ebay. I think that is considered the prescription part of the mask.
I think next time I will be looking at the ResMed Swift FX Nano It seems it might work for me.
I have contacted Respironics. We will see if they have anything to say.

Re: Phillips Respironics Wisp mask high breakage failure rate

In most cases, you can use the headgear from a different mask or a "generic" headgear. From what I see, this mask should not be an exception. It seems that this mask can be used with the clips or the headgear can be threaded directly through the holes. If the problem is with the clips, try threadin...

Phillips Respironics Wisp mask high breakage failure rate

Is anyone else experiencing breakage in the Wisp mask? I have been using the Wisp for a couple of years. So far on 3 of them the headgear has snapped in two. Two of them broke just past 6 months so I just got a new one. One broke just before 6 months so for a week I went back to the old brand I stil...

Weird power consumption in "Off" mode

I just bought a AirSense 10 (used). I put my watt meter on it to see how it compared to my old one. The old one had a Purge mode after it was turned off. So I unplugged it every morning. Why waste electricity to run it when I am not using it. Since I wasn't using humidity I didn't need the purge. I ...

Re: How to clean/deoderize/sanitize machine

I haven't started using it yet. I am still airing it out. I am using a rental. I know the plastic absorbed odors. I am trying to get it to dissipate the quickest. I was hoping agitating it would knock them free quicker. I got some Ozium and it helped a bit.

Re: CPAP ineffective

I disagree with your MAIN premise. I don't have a spouse so my main reason is my health. I can't live without it. I gained over 3 inches on my neck before I got one. However I realize YMMV and each to his own.

Re: Newby here - First Oximeter Graphs - any comments?

The image is too small to read the numbers. Are the O2 marks 5% increments? When I did something similar years ago what interested the doctor was not the large dip but smaller more regular dips like you can sort of see on night 2 that indicate apnea. However I don't think yours drop below 90% so not...

Re: I've been experimenting with taping my lips together

For 50 years I was a mouth breather at night. After my nasal surgery I was finally able to close my mouth but habits are hard to break. I tried lots of things. I used a piece of tape, sometimes two, vertically to hold it closed finally and it worked. I wanted to be able to rip it open in my sleep if...

Re: Airsense 10 and new filters

To me it seems the filter seal is not that good so I worry about it leaking once the filter gets a little clogged. However when I search for filters some say 2 1/8 x 1 3/8 and others say 2 1/8 x 1 7/16. Most sites show the larger size and say they are compatible. But I am not convinced that I would ...

Re: How to clean/deoderize/sanitize machine

The filter is cheap which is why I will flush it with a clean one and then throw that one out.
I want to try the Ozium and don't want to breath that.
