respironics white performance tubing is my favorite, if you don't need a heated hose.

Can you measure the actual fraction of inspired oxygen delivered when connecting O2 to your CPAP/Bi-level?
So if room air is 21% FiO2, generally it's accepted that every increase in LPM is about a 4% increase in the FiO2. But with CPAP or Bi-level, depending on the pressures used, dilution occurs. So 2LPM delivered by a nasal cannula is not the same as 2L delivered by connecting tubing from a concentrato...

Oxygen concentrator bubble humidifier - can you use with bi-level as well?
Right now I have the ClimateLineAir™ Oxy Heated Tube connected to my AirCurve 10 ST-A bi-level, using a 25ft tubing connection to the concentrator. I use a bubble humidifier during the day when just using the concentrator via nasal cannula. I'm not 24/7 oxygen dependent, but sometimes I do use it du...

Re: Insomnia for the past 4 years!
Be strict about when you drink caffeine (and how much), have a set sleep and wake up time, stay out of bed unless you are heading to sleep or having sex, get any electronics like the computer/tv out of the bedroom, make sure the environment is cool and comfortable, stay off screens for about an hour...

Re: Sticky: Phillips Respironics recent recall notice discussion thread
Both of my devices are now registered, but who knows what will happen. It gave zero information except for a confirmation number, nothing on next steps.

Re: Sticky: Phillips Respironics recent recall notice discussion thread
I didn’t know this board was associated with cpap.com. This is completely unsolicited and I don’t often write these kind of things. I recently bought my dreamstatiom from cpap.com. Every single person I spoke with was extremely knowledgeable, extremely helpful and did what they said they were going...

Re: Sticky: Phillips Respironics recent recall notice discussion thread
The most convenient solution is to buy a newer machine, whether it's the DS2, Trilogy Evo, etc,. That's what they want you to feel -- is pressured into doing so. Rather than the headache of figuring out how to send your unit in, and not knowing when you will get it back. My guess is Philips has know...

New pillow --> higher AHI?
I know it sounds kind of stupid, at least to me, but I started using a different pillow which is flatter, and now I'm registering a higher AHI due to hypopneas. Wonder if not being as elevated as usual is leading to partial obstructions? Nothing else has really changed.

Re: Second Wind CPAP has gone down the tubes
Maybe a little slack would be nice - so many people are working at home and don't always have perfect answers just when you need them. I was understanding two times ago, but nothing has improved since then. Meanwhile I've had zero issues with our hosts and I've probably had over 100 orders with the...

Re: Second Wind CPAP has gone down the tubes
Funny. Most of the posts on this forum have been wildly positive. Maybe you should send them a registered letter. Pity to let a couple bad employees ruin a company's reputation. I have used them many times and before last year I always had a good experience. Right now I purchased an item 11 days ag...

Second Wind CPAP has gone down the tubes
I've had terrible customer service with them the last few purchases over the past year. Almost zero communication, lack of confirmation regarding my prescription on file, lack of a tracking #. IDK what it is but something has fallen off over there. I had a concentrator delivered to my Grandma, no tr...
