ResMed F30 - any experience or input?
Thus far, has anyone used or tried a ResMed F30 FFM? I am especially interested in any first hand experience or comparison of it and the Respironics DreamWear FFM.

Re: Sleepyhead software glitch
When I import data from an SD card SH automatically looks at all SD card related locations and assesses the files there. The only times it ever asks to pick anything is initially when it asks one to pick a user and then pick a file or location if it does not find SD cards containing files that match...

Re: Doctor Closing his doors for good.
This is all part of what might be described as agglutinating medical practices. Single provider joins group to spread insurance risks or other forces; that group either merges with another group or groups; that larger group is absorbed by a hospital entity or mega practice. I personally know of thre...

Re: New Mask study
What part of the World do you live in? If USA, was the invitation through your DME or a sleep center where you have a history? Whether DME or sleep center, what can you share about them?

DreamWear FFM short hose?
I am getting a DreamWear FFM to try out. Does anyone use or have an opinion about using a short hose to connect the mask to the PAP hose? If so, any thoughts about benefits would be appreciated along with suggestions for what short hose to use.

Re: First I've heard of it: Resmed N30i
It is interesting they are using the nasal design of the Amara View rather than the P10 pronged approach. I could not get the Amara View to seal on my nose, personally. Given that the design seems to allow the potential use of various interface types, I suspect the first released was chosen as a di...

Re: First I've heard of it: Resmed N30i
Looks like they looked at the dreamwear and said "hmm... we can do better" https://pages.resmed.com/CA-N30i-P.html My take on the design: 1) It seems slimmer/sleeker than DW - lower profile 2) Like DW it seems it could accommodate any of a series of optional interfaces: FF, nasal cushion, pillows, ...

Re: Opinion needed: PR Dreamwear FFM
Chin straps and full face masks....my thought is why use a chin strap if using a full face mask. Good question - this largely comes from comments by the sleep teck after my sleep study. I had noted the Amara View did not quite cover the corners of my mouth at times during the time I was wearing it ...

Re: Opinion needed: PR Dreamwear FFM
Thanks for the quick responses - I, too, am considering the AirFit F30. This is largely because I think the ResMed cushion designs are very well thought out and their Mirage cushions especially so. Does anyone have comments/opinions about the printable sizing guides available for either/both the DW ...

Opinion needed: PR Dreamwear FFM
In trying the Amara View during my recent sleep study came away intrigued by the concept but not the mask. The sleep tech doing the test said she had heard positive things about the DreamWear FFM but they didn't have one for me to try at the time. I am thinking about ordering one when my sleep doc p...

Query - AirCurve 10 versions
My sleep doc called me yesterday saying she will be ordering a new AirCurve 10 for me. In so, she stated it would be a 10 S - at the time I gave it little thought because she already knows I currently use an AirCurve 10 VAuto. After additional thought I have come to the belief that she was not being...

ResMed Heated Hose differences Oxy vs Standard
My doc has asked me to switch out my Oxygen use with PAP. In swapping the ClimateLine Oxy tube (https://www.cpap.com/productpage/resmed-climatelineair-oxy-tube-airsense-aircurve-10#specs-tab) for the non-oxy version (https://www.cpap.com/productpage/resmed-climatelineair-tubing-airsense-aircurve-10#...

Free Medium Amara View available
I did a split night study Friday night so my new sleep doc could validate my use of BPAP. In the titration portion I was offered an Amara View FFM (single size medium) because my mouth had been wide open a good bit of the time during the un-treated diagnostic portion of the test. Rather than attempt...
