Re: Sleep Test in Bangkok
I had a very well managed sleep study at Bangkok Christian Hospital. I recall it costing less than half that. Bumrungrad is one of the best hospitals in the region and priced accordingly (although still cheap compared to the West). They sell CPAP gear here but it's actually more expensive than impor...

Re: Colonoscopy & BiPap
I had one today, as it goes.
They charged me extra and insisted on having an anaesthetist present
I was knocked spark out and had no option to bring or use my machine.
This is in Bangkok, though.

Re: Home Remedy for Cancer
May I ask how you know it wasn't the chemo or radiotherapy that did the trick?

I love it. Only mask I've been able to use as a side sleeper. It's designed so the pressure stays constant even if you constrict one side of the airflow.

Re: Duration of hypopnea events
It's something to with the way Resmed machines report hypopneas. They're obviously not all 10 seconds, but perhaps someone could elaborate further.

Re: sleep vs wake breathing and effect of hypops ? question
Not sure if anyone told you yet, but Redmed misreports all hypopneas as 10 seconds on Sleepyhead. It's a bug, and they're probably longer.

Around the £200 mark, maybe a bit more. In-lab, in Bangkok.

Weed, Xanax, alcohol (not at the same time!) all reduce my AHI. No idea why.

Re: Morning clusters of obstructives over last three days
Thanks robysue Those leaks are relatively standard for my usage over the last year or so. When I have a bit more money I plan to get some of the new nasal cushions for my dreamwear as they look as though they'd deal better with the leaks. I'm in Bangkok and though I have insurance, the apnea counted...

Morning clusters of obstructives over last three days
Hello all Big fan of this forum and longtime lurker here. I don't have enough posts for screenshots (and weirdly couldn't find the instructions about how to upload them either). I've had an AHI under one for the last six months or so, but over the last few (three or four) days have noticed a big clu...
