Re: Sanitizing the Water Resevoir on a Second Hand Machine
I am tempted to just buy a new water chamber to be sure I'm not exposing myself to something. If it helps you sleep better, they only cost about $30 from our host, cpap.com, and certain other online mega-retailers. In fact, it's good to have a spare in case it jumps off the table and subsequently s...

Judging by the photo, I don't think that would fit up my nose.

Re: ResMed 10 ERROR MSG: Motor has exceeded ...
Nicko at CPAP Reviews has a cute video with his kids about this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F3j7ybeKdQI The warning is annoying, but I'm riding it out because: 1) I have a backup, 2) It runs silent, 3) I know where to get the motor professionally replaced and calibrated for about US$250, 4) AS1...

Re: What is ResMed AirView?
The original question was about AirView, but I have some comments on your reply. MyAir is mostly useless junk. For proof of compliance, it may be enough. That is what the original poster was trying to achieve. MyAir runs off of Bluetooth/proximity, not cellular tower. Only on the Airsense 11. For Ai...

Re: What is ResMed AirView?
How does a CPAPer sign up for it? How does machine data get to the provider? Machines with 4G modems: machine pushes data to ResMed mothership daily over cellular network. Detailed data goes to the central AirView database at Resmed and summary data goes to a separate MyAir database. Card to Cloud ...

Re: Damaged AirSense 11, no heating available
Heck, I did that on the first night! (no damage, though, thank goodness)
I immediately got a 2-door CPAP nightstand (with a hole in the side to feed the hose through) from Wayfair.
I can recommend acbio.com as well if you go the repair route. Good luck!

Re: Water or no Water...
If you can get along without a humidifier, more power to you! It sure makes travel easier. Humidity is just an option for your comfort. The water is "downwind" from the the air pump, so the machine runs fine without it. If you add your machine type to your Profile, the fine folks here can tell you h...

Re: How much water in the humidifier tank?
MAX is just maximum. You don't have to fill it all of the way, especially if you know you won't run out. Running out during the night can be unpleasant. Emptying and drying out every day to a subject that people have various opinions about. Since you're new to the exciting world of CPAPs, you can fo...

In yesterday's OT thread, I was surprised to find where it could end up, though.
The OP could probably find plenty of people with old, stretched out P10 straps that don't spring back with washing.

Re: General Flow Rate Question
[..]but every time I see an image of someone else's SleepyHead data it seems to me that my Flow Rate always seems much higher/wider or generally more aggressive looking. Is this a concern, given that the treatment seems to be finally working and I feel better? According to Pugsy's FAQ in the sticky...
