Re: Doctor's Findings
No, he never explained that. The only thing on this pressure I am happy with is that I no longer have RERA's and I don't wake up as often. I still wake up ever few hours.

Re: Doctor's Findings
Thanks, I found the software and will give it a try. I shouldn't doubt Sleepyhead because both that and the DreamMapper app give the same results as in OA's, CA's and Hypopnea's. I guess the doctor is just basing his findings from the one night sleep study being wired up versus software data.

Doctor's Findings
So I recently went to my sleep doctor who specializes in neurology. I discussed their study finding with a pressure of 9 versus me playing around with pressures to get my apneas as low as possible. I was in auto trial mode most of the time with a range of 11-15 and 95% of the time at 14. He told dur...

Re: Imgur question
I just share the link from Imgur unless you have other pics on there that you don't want people to see. I strictly use it for CPAP.

Cpap with REM
I recently had a 2nd sleep study and was told I have a lot of REM sleep. That most likely explains my higher AHI's during the REM sleep. The sleep tech prefers I stay on a CPAP versus APAP but wouldn't it make more sense to need the extra pressure during the REM sleep and go with an APAP? Does anyon...

Re: Pros and cons of using or not using the humidifier feature
Your nose is a natural humidifier. Now think about blowing air into your nose all night. What do you suppose happens? That's why you need the humidity. It also helps your AHI.

Re: Mask type for airfit n20 in dreamstation
You skip over that setting. It doesn't apply for masks not listed on the package. I know this because I actually called my DME on this subject.

Re: Cpap experience
I ended up changing the pressure because I had a 2nd Sleep Study performed. The Center said I had no episodes with a pressure of 9. I also read where your health can be in danger if you are on the wrong pressure with Cpap therapy. I will agree, my AHI was much better at a higher pressure. I see my t...

Re: Cpap experience
I have been all over the board with pressures over the months on this therapy. It doesn't matter what pressure I am on, I still have the same results.

Cpap experience
Been on Cpap therapy since October 2016. Have had 2 sleep studies performed and am on a pressure of 9. I have no problem falling asleep but wake up every 2 hours all night or day, depending on what shift I am working or when I am off of work. As soon as I fall asleep, I start dreaming. Sometimes I s...

Re: AHI is higher in REM?
I seem to be in REM most of my sleep. I always feel tired and wake up several times a night. Cpap isn't what I was hoping for.

I use a full face mask and that currently being a Mirage Quattro. I have no leaks from the data SleepyHead shows.

Re: Fired My Sleep Doctor
I use Cpap and never have no SleepyHead findings. I have a few RERA's, OA' and CA's every night. My AHI is always below 5 but does anyone have ZERO events, ever?

Re: Fired My Sleep Doctor
A hypopnea is shallow breathing. I didn't know you can correct it. What do you do to correct that?

Re: SleepyHead results
I do dream some crazy stuff. Sometimes I remember and other times, not. I see my Sleep Doctor soon so I wanted some data at this pressure to show him. After that, I most likely will play with settings a little. I don't wake up near as often with this 9 pressure. I had my AHI very low prior to this b...
